Yes, we should have added a couple of front six defenders. Clearly, we are much weaker in the middle without Barmore, Bentley, Mapu and Takitaki. Also, we haven't extended Wise. One must question how effective he would be in 2025 if he chooses to come back. We need DL's for the future.

With regard to EDGE/OLB, we should have added a future stud. However, I can understand that this is more likely to be a top draftee. We extended who we wanted to. Judon was expendable and not part of the future. We are fine continuing to improve at EDGE with White, Jennings and Uche. If anything, I would extend Uche and look to the draft for another EDGE player.
Uche is In a prime position to carve out a pass rusher role and make himself some $$$. For some reason other than an occasional play here or there I haven't seen his impact.. we know that 11 sack ability is in him.. I was hoping he and white could be a great pair for us off the edge.. the game was good for the defense to experience. I expect them to be far better against
SF. No Deebo, no CMC.. ayuik and Kittle are the threats..

The most disappointing thing about the game - we knew about the lack of talent on offense - was the lack of effort and concentration and toughness, even surprisingly of stamina and conditioning, particularly on defense. They played stupid, lazy at times, weirdly unmotivated. It seems to me that can only be regarded as a failure of coaching, whether on the part of the HC or the DC, I do not know. I am sure Mayo must be deeply disappointed in that aspect of the loss. He certainly should be.

I said it before and I'll say it again, nobody was drooling over the Brown offense the last few years. The reason he's here is because his meat-and-potatoes offense is easy for a young QB to pick up.
I was reading that the Pats offered the OC job to Nick Caley with almost $3m salary and he turned us down to stay in LA. And he was with us for many years. He must have known how truly bad our offensive roster is and said I want no part of that.

Maybe they sang kumbayah in the locker room after the loss. Loser of a coach and GM.
They certainly "collaborated" in losing the game. Is that a positive under the new ethos?

Yeah. He chose to stay in LA as he loved the experience. He moved up from sunoco gift cards and the minimum wage salary to go be part of the McVay tree.

DEI? Really? So a former ALL PRO ,captain, and coach who came up under Bill isn't qualified enough.. I'll take the 1-2 record.. he only has to win 3 more games to match the unemployed GOAT.
Yes. DEI. No real experience making any decisions without Bill holding his hand and running his unit for him.

And if he wins 8 more games (which won't happen) , he still has 18 seasons to go to match the GOAT.

What you don't like 98 yards passing? Lol

Watching Marcus on Jones on big WRs is like a man among boys.. Mike Williams and lazard are just to big for those guys. If Purdy dices us up then I'm officially backing out on the defense being top 10.
I commented that night that watching Jones on Lazard was like Ellis Hobbs on Plaxico in the SB and then I drank and ugly cried

Participation trophies all around, because everyone is a winner with the Pats under the new DEI management.

The fact that the team sucks and is consensus bottom 5 is just noise to Mayo.

Whether you call it DEI or hire your buddy, Mayo was well below the qualifications of almost every HC hire in the NFL.

The fired GOAT HC asked the DEI hire to come into coaching.. Brady nicknamed the DEI hire little bill, the DEI hire had 5 seasons of coaching experience.. your right Jeff Saturday should have been hired instead.
