Winnable game, based on the return of professional football being played in Foxboro.

No one here thought they'd be possibly 2-0. Good stuff.

You just gotta belieeeeveeeeee

Gonna be a helluva story.

In the week 1 pregame discussion I wondered whether the Pats should use an extra LT to replace the TE to stabilize our “offensive” line. Apparently that’s exactly what happened, as the Pats used an extra tackle (eligible) on 16 snaps.

Now, Seattle will see that on the tape, and I assume that they will prepare to counter it. If they try to stack the line, I hope we put in a few dump-offs to the eligible tackle.
I was right there with you until that last part lol. I think they can come up with better ways to exploit them if they stack the box then throwing to the tackle eligible. Just a screen pass or something like that.

I really didn't see anything good out of Osborn, but... maybe I missed something... I think Polk and/or Boutte should be out there
They need to sit Polk. No need to rush him out there with Jakoby Brissett handing off the ball 75% of the time and with his accuracy problem he could injured Polk. Better sit him this year so he can learn the defenses watching film and taking reps in practice

This is a winnable game. Seahawks are unreliable and can lay duds at any time. Mayo may start out 2-0 and have the urge to fist pump like Josh McDaniels in Denver.

We are going to have to cover Three Good WR's this time around though. Metcalf - Smith-Ninja and Lockett we know Gonzo got one but can we cover the other two?? We definitely can't play as conservative as we did on Sunday.

Apparently the NFL feels Keion White was too good - they have sent him a drug test after his dominant performance yesterday.

That's crazy. I've heard stories from former players that they get targeting after having games like that.

The NFL also needs to award him 3 sacks and not 2.5. I don't think Bentley had any bearing on one of the sacks as White clearly had him in the grasp first and didn't need an assist.

Remember who's throwing the football. Geno shouldn't scare anyone and is prone to duds.

Agreed. I almost put Gonzo on Lockett. He's the engine that makes the offense go. It's gonna be much more challenging than Cincy was imo. This isn't going to be an easy game. Walker is a fantastic back as well.

I think the Seahawks have the edge in this one too, as most teams the Pats face this year do. All depends on how the breaks go and how much the other team screws themselves.

Random my ass. Someone should chart this stuff and then bring it up sometime to Goodell.
We cost somebody in management a lot of $$$$ yesterday weren't we the Biggest underdog??

I'd expect the Seahawks to take a step backwards this season and finish last in that division. I hope we can put up at least 24 on that defense.

You mean G-NO, shouldnt scare anybody. G-NO is probably scared of playing the pats here after what they did to him when he was with the jest

Well we all know about sb49 but interesting that we never beat carroll in the regular season and all those games came down to the last minute (last 2 ended on goal line stands too ironically in THEIR favor). The last time we beat them in the regular season was 2008 which was before carroll took over. Hope we can reverse the trend again! And interestingly enough we somehow didn’t play them between 1993 and 2004, thats weird

They need to focus on stopping the run first and foremost. Walker and Charbonnet are the problems there. Make Seattle one dimensional and make Geno beat them. They have good WRs in Metcalf, Lockett, Smith-Njigba etc but I'd really worry about the running game much more. Geno being forced to be "the guy" will make a few nice throws but will also give you some freebies.

And in the other one in 2012 (the "U Mad Bro" game) we allowed 2 TD in the last 7:30 of the game to lose by 1. Another close game. I expect this one will be no different.

One of the most annoying regular season losses i can remember. Crazy how it was the same year as the loss in Baltimore with the replacement refs, both are up there
