I think we end up cutting a DT, LB and OL as a direct swap for the player claimed, and then Dial or one of Reagor/Boutte gets cut for the additional OL claimed.

I'll guess Hill, Elliss, Leverett and Dial are the players that get released. Leverett stays if Lowe or Sow get an injury designation (didn't see much reporting regarding the extent of the injuries to either player and/or timeline to return).

We kept 6 WRs and have Bourne on PUP I think it's fair to assume they feel better about these 8 guys than Marshall.

Meanwhile other teams are looking to sign veteran players like dalvin cook and Lawrence guy. Both would certainly improve our team.

Or what ? Those four players barely move the needle and most teams in the league want nothing to do with them.

They’ll probably swap OL and DT. One of our DBs and/or one of Boutte/Reagor will also be cut IMO.

Who else would you want the Pats to cut? All the guys you mentioned are at the end of the roster. Some of them are gonna be gone to accommodate the early season roster shuffle that all teams do.

So which 4 were dropped?

I hope it’s 4 among BoneyT, Leverett, Eukalele, Pharma, Ellis, Bolden & Pettus.
