Jacobs was competing to be the top backup swing tackle for Denver. Seems like many thought he would have secured that job. He can play on either side and looked good this preseason, albeit against lesser competition.
From what I can tell, the Rams were playing Thomas at guard - but McVay seemed to intimate that he was the final cut and it was a tough decision - they just had too many guys already on the OL.
Demontrey Jacobs was an undrafted FA in 2023 by the Broncos, out of South Florida. He's 6'6", 315lbs.
.
Zachary Thomas is a 6th rd pick in 2022 by the Rams, out of San Diego State. he's 6'5", 300 lbs.
EDIT: Thomas drafted by Bears and waived, then signed to PS. The Rams signed him off the PS of the Bears. He's appeared in 3 games over two seasons.
Or what ? Those four players barely move the needle and most teams in the league want nothing to do with them.So who are the 4 cuts?
Guessing at OL LB and DT to replace those spots.
Boutte, Bell, Bolden, Wilson better make it.
Well who do you want cut instead? So who are the 4 cuts?

They’ll probably swap OL and DT. One of our DBs and/or one of Boutte/Reagor will also be cut IMO.So who are the 4 cuts?
