Truer words have never been spoken!

I’m fairly confident he will just end up on NE’s practice squad.
I think there are teams that will claim him. Prior to cutdowns 30 of 32 teams had enough cap space to claim him without an issue.

Better chance for elevation

Why would you think there was a better chance at Elevation on the Pats than on the Ravens? If he never heard from the Pats in the lead up to the draft, why would he think they are anything but Johnny-Come-Lately? Why not stick with the Ravens where he's already started developing, he knows that Noteboom is on a short deal and Noteboom has a history of injuries? 3 of the 7 seasons that Noteboom has played, he's missed at least 11 games.

He might not evaluate it that way, but quality of Pats OL vs Ratbirds OL might make it look like he’s got better chances here. Seems the consensus on this board is not favorable regarding our OL depth so if he buys into that view the prospects here might look better.

It's his agent's job to evaluate it that way and advise his client on what is best. The Coaches have already told him they want him back. And since the PS is the same amount as is game-day elevations, there is no incentive.

This board's consensus doesn't mean jack in the scheme of things. And certainly doesn't mean anything to the players on the field.

Marcus Bryant proved to be a capable swing tackle in College. Lowe has yet to prove that he can play RT, but he's an adequate LT. He was no worse than the Steelers LT from last year. You know. The guy who got a 4/84 contract with the Titans. And Lowe didn't have the benefit of the better O-line Coaching that Moore did..

Campbell is a rookie. So is Bryant. Neither have had injury issues. The last time Moses was on the IR was his rookie season. 11 years ago..

If I can see this, what makes you think that Lichtenhan's agent can't?

Better chance for elevation
Lol no. Thats just silly. He has been in the same city for many months on a championship caliber team. He is not moving to Foxboro for $13,000 per week.

I think part of the problems with this roster, at least on the OL, are the fact that the scheme has flip-flopped every year since 2021. They had the same scheme for forever through 2021, then in 2022 when McDaniels left, they drafted different types of players to fit the scheme Matt Patricia wanted to run.

Then in 2023 Patricia was gone, Kraft forced Bill O’Brien on Belichick, and they flipped back to a McDaniels-type scheme.

Then in 2024, BB and BOB are gone and Alex Van Pelt is the new OC who moved back to a zone scheme like Patricia was trying to implement.

Now in 2025, McDaniels is back again and they swap back, again. So there’s just no consistency at all for years.

We see the same on the DL to a degree but 2025 is really the first year that the scheme has changed there, so the damage is less severe.
There are 4 new OL. Past schemes mean nothing to them.
