You can keep repeating yourself as many times as you like.Your argument does not sway my opinion in the least
Correlation is when 2 things happen together. Causation is when one thing happens BECAUSE OF THE OTHER.
Tom Brady is the GOAT and he didn’t play as a rookie (correlation). Tom Brady isn’t the GOAT BECAUSE he didn’t play as a rookie (causation) If Brady played as a rookie he still would have been the GOAT, in fact his career arc would have been sped up.
What you seem to not understand is that everything you can do while sitting can also be fine while playing, and you get the added development of playing.
What there is both correlation and causation to is that a QB improved through their first year whether they play or not. That’s what your quote represents. They don’t however represent that not playing is the reason.
The correlation is that most QBs sit all or part of their rookie year, so must good ones, and must bad ones sat all or part of their rookie year.
Causation requires a reason that one led to the other and there is no evidence, reason or logic that practicing and not playing develops a football player better than practicing and playing.
Tom Brady does not disagree with me and I’m sure he would say any okaying he did in his rookie year would have benefited him.
Look, you don’t have to read my posts. You don’t have to respond to my posts. You certainly don’t have to criticize me responding back to posters who comment on my posts.
I’m not sure why you would find me believing that you get better at football by playing football condescending, nor how you think misunderstanding correlation and causation allows you to take some moral high ground, but honestly you sound like a little whiny *****. We disagree, I’m not sure why that has to become some kind of windmill for you to tilt at.
You’ve given your opinion, I disagree. I have moved zero off of my belief after each time you gave it.
I do not care in the least whether you agree with me or not.
How about we have more posts about football and less posts about posters. I am sorry if you feel intimidated by me. The ignore feature maybe your best route.
