It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Yeah it's more likely they are both bust but no team drafts a player expecting them to be busts either. My point is : it really isn’t. Sadly - in the NFL - it is MUCH more likely that both Maye and Milton are busts. For both to become good players would be (wonderfully) shocking. I can’t imagine them month panning out.
Also, I’ve seen this movie before. A player has a good preseason game second half and the board freaks out. Almost never leads to a HoF career, rarely leads to a difference maker.
I would absolutely LOVE seeing NE hit on both QBs. As you’ve pointed out, it would be a gold rush !
While unattractive, I’m witty and appealing to some. You never know, Ariana might be tired of Hollywood types.
You mean Tre Nixon after that great preseason in 2022 isn't the next Antonio Brown after all?My point is : it really isn’t. Thread title brings back a great music memory.
State can you stop rubbing in it.This is me April 9 in the draft forum:
As soon as I saw there was a deluge, I thought, "well... they're gonna put in the sacrificial Zambp early to rack up the Crappe heavy rain stats."The reason Zappe played as much as he did is because they're showcasing him for trade. Either way, he's gone.
That is a very low bar. The QB's were not put in a position to be successful by the roster and team dynamics on offense. Mac's mental breakdowns coupled with his physical limitations basically sabotaged the team. Zappe was not any better. Milton's skillset is better suited to chaos. That said it doesn't mean that he is viable as a long term starter in a functional NFL offense. There is something to be said for being brought in with low expectations.
TFB was a 6th round pick with a #1 overall pick on a big new contract, as the entrenched starter.
Maye is the guy in the spotlight now with Milton as the afterthought.
There is value in being in that lower scrutiny position.
Here is a thought, if the Pats had Milton last season, do they play him and win more games than they did?
Yeah PF2... gibby looked good in short action. The running game will unlock everything my brother... I think we will see more of Drake the next game.Saw your man Gibby looking like sweet feet James White last night.
Well, I never ! A 50 year dad bod isn’t enough for Ms Grande ?!?!!Yeah it's more likely they are both bust but no team drafts a player expecting them to be busts either.
Look at the Redskins, they drafted RG3 and Kirk Cousins in the same draft. RG3 career got wrecked by coming back too soon from his knee injury his rookie campaign.
It's plausible but it's highly unlikely.
Your odds at Ariana Grande on the other hand are absolute zero
I take it back, you got her on the next reboundWell, I never ! A 50 year dad bod isn’t enough for Ms Grande ?!?!!

HOLY. I’m much more fun that this individual. And I actually look better too.Sorry farn you gotta look like this Beast (current bf) to order the Grande.
Thanks for resisting the temptation - to which various blowhards have succumbed - to mock those who choose to entertain a positive thought about the guy.For me, the situation is simple. Congrats to Milton. You have earned the position of #3 QB, and we hope that you develop into a solid #2 for 2025, backing up Maye for at least the next four years.
If you can fix a running toilet, she might take you on as a handyman.HOLY. I’m much more fun that this individual. And I actually look better too.
Where’s that poster saying I have no shot ?!?!
That pass didn't look at all like a bomb but it was great to see.For fun I'm going to go ahead and hype up Joe Milton. I'm not doing this to **** on Drake Maye.
Say what you will about his current command of the offense and the fact he went against 2s and 3s of a very vanilla offense, I like his poise and he just seems to have the aura of a winner. He's great at the podium too. I don't think its out of the realm of possibilities that we could have a legitimate QB controversy at some point.
WATCH: Patriots QB Joe Milton shows off arm with 40-yard TD bomb to JaQuae Jackson
We went from no QBs last year to the possibility of two or three this year.Going to be a Michael Bishop situation again.
Malik is small and was getting pancaked in that 1 preseason stint, and as primarily a running QB, my thought was he's not gonna last long in the league. Milton's mentality is run last, and he's taller, heavier, faster, and stronger than Josh Allen (draft time measurements). The fact that he was able to keep his poise behind the 3rd/4th string OL is what is promising. Plus he was throwing to 4th/5th stringers or worse (and Boutte who is a mystery). I'm just glad he'll probably be on the Pats for at least the next 3 years, as he has the mentality to be the perfect backup for when Brisk is gone next year.Is Milton going to be another preseason HOFer a la Malik Cunningham? I’d like to see Milton shine against guys that aren’t going to be washing cars in a couple of weeks. Let’s hold off on the anointing oil.
