Doesn’t make sense. The Cowboys can get a 1st round pick for Lamb, just not one as high as the Patriots will likely be picking., whereas a team like Seattle could offer a mid first for him. I wouldn’t give up a top 5 pick and 30+ million a year for him.

We are talking about a potential top 5 pick, as well as a contract approaching the 30+ million per that Jefferson received, when they could simply wait for free agency and the Draft and get a top WR and a top LT for the same value. They are in the process of building a team, not looking for one superstar to put them over the top,

Only after they get a stud LT (which will probably be in the 2025 draft). And, there will be one or possibly two young WR1 FA's available in the 2025 FA period.
No a 1st that'll be as high as we'll probably be picking (especially when we can snag a Day 1 starter at LT with that pick). And, they may be able to add a still young WR 1 in 2025 FA.
There are still too many holes. Maye has to prove himself. LT obviously. If Onwenu is going to stay at RG and we let Strange walk, then we need Wallace to blossom or a new RT. RB. FS and a CB opposite Gonzo. And an EDGE. Lots of holes. If Maye blossoms we can trade down from our Top 3 2025 pick, and have multiple picks to fill the holes plus huge FA dollars.

Although it’s obviously really early next years first couple of rounds in the Draft appear to be the polar opposite of this year’s Draft. Right now the Early mocks only have 1 or 2 LT’s rated in the top 15-20 picks, and it’s loaded on defense. There are however a few highly rated WR’s.
They are in the playoffs with Prescott every year, that gives them a shot at a Lombardi, journeymen don’t give you that opportunity. There is zero chance Prescott will be traded until they have a QB with more potential on their roster.
