Hopefully their claim they presented an offer after Monday is a sign they’re trying to unlock the deadlock. Judon claiming they didn’t extend an offer is disheartening though. We’ll have to wait and see.

I hope that’s it, and getting it clarified could be what it takes for a breakthrough. We can only hope.

Gotta trade Judon at this point, IMO. He’s becoming a big distraction at a time where they’re trying to build culture, and I think they’ve done a pretty good job of that outside of him. He’s a good player and otherwise a good teammate but he already got a bump last year and now is seemingly seeking a very large extension while also coming off of an injury. It doesn't really make much financial sense.

Maybe let him seek a trade partner who would be willing to pay him what he wants. He may find that no team is willing to do so and lower his expectations.

We had Judon for 4 games last year, none this year will not be that much of a strain on the defense.
