#1 WR? Brandon Aiyuk or Deebo anyone?

I get the concerns about OL but nobody is available there right now. You should fill your needs as the good opportunities become available. To my knowledge there are no top OT’s available in the thick of their prime for a 2nd and change. Get Aiyuk and resign your key defenders, you can fully prioritize OT in 2025.

If you pass up on these chances just because you have another need you could be waiting a while, doesn’t make sense to me.

Being as nobody has traded a high draft pick and paid him already most of the NFL agrees with me.

I'm praying Wolf isn't that stupid...
Wozzy Teams are not going to give up a First for a player they know you're going to have to move. Yeah the Niners were holding Firm for a First but 2024 was a Deep WR class to their dismay.

That what I'm saying worse case scenario we are in the Top 10 again in 2025 Offensive Tackle territory. But at the very least we would have the other skilled positions on Offense covered. Aiyuk would be a Great acquisition for us let him grow with Maye and the youngsters.

Fully prioritize OT all you want, that doesn't mean that many will be available in free agency, other than injured older veterans. As far as the draft, sure we can focus on OT, and maybe we'll get a good prospect. Let's be clear, the OT talent available won't be anywhere near as deep early as this year.

I believe 3 of the top 5 or so free agent OT's this year were Onwenu, Brown and Okorafor.

Given our situation, it was probably best for us to have drafted the BOTA (best OT available with our 2nd pick). Yes, we would have totally ignored BPA, and even our own draft board. HOWEVER, it was probably right to take a chance and overdraft an OT.

Thats what im getting at, im thinking we are not going to get an OT in FA or find a trading partner. Its going to have to come from the draft if this years options don’t work. Or we will try the bargain bin again. Whichever one, trading for aiyuk isn’t going to affect that process of getting one.

Yes, if Aiyuk was a realistic option for a 2025 pick it should have been OT in 2nd and do what it takes to get Aiyuk trade done.

A 2025 Second Rounder plus a hefty contract is the going rate. I mean we have up a Second for the worthless Sanu many moons ago.
Giving up a 2nd for Sanu was a major error made in desperation. Apples/oranges. There’s not pressure on the collaboration station to do anything this season.

Teams who overrate Aiyuk and think he’s worth a draft pick will measure that against what he wants for a contract. They’ll give up a high pick or pay him top of the market, teams are reluctant to do both.

The 49ers will come down on their trade compensation expectations once they realize the pick they want isn’t there.

It’s somewhat difficult to predict injuries…in fact some may say it’s impossible. Sanu had a very good game against WTF’s…then got injured. Was it a major error because he got injured? In hindsight yes.

Well Wolf really wanted him me too: I hate Ridley's girlified I wish her nothing but the best.
She didn't like the weather lol.. and thought Ridley would be catching passed from Zapp.

Like BB.. if no other QB ever works out wolf can still claim Rodgers!

Games are not played on paper we have a very good Defense: they just need a competentant Offense and Drake Maye can run. A lot of Teams we weren't expecting played well last year I expect the same from us.

Maye was .500 in the ACC last year! He is not even better than Jacoby! Yet somehow you think they are going to thrive with a guy who lost his right tackle job in Pittsburgh, starting at Left Tackle. The Pats have Owenu and Andrews and everyone else is a back up at best. Whoever the QB is is going to running for thier life! I don't are how good your defense is, unless the defense scores and pitches a shut out, the Pats are in for a long, long, season. The Pats have zero weapons on offense.

Boy she knows Football she's not a ordinary woman definitely ain't no country bumkin.

Ok if that's true is Deebo on the Trading Block??
No. They can't afford to lose a core player like that right now. Their window is slowly closing.

Oh so you don't think Maye will be any good...I have a good feeling about him. Heck I didn't think too much of Josh Allen initially but look how he turned out. You can't teach what Maye's already got you have to hope he puts it all together at least that's my hope.

How can they have all these guys under contract Deebo - McCaffrey - Kittle - Purdy *soon* and Aiyuk??

Deebo will be traded when they sign Aiyuk next season.
