Fighting everyone on the thread

What you think you look like:

What you actually look like:

I saw a report he wasn't onboard but not Bill saying it. Honestly I am a little suspicious. Jakobi stated he wanted to be back and that the difference in the Vegas offer was only a million so I think Bill could have matched if he truly wanted him back. If Bill truly was getting vetoed on guys he wanted or didn't I don’t think he would have stayed but that is just my opinion.
Oh I get it. I saw the interview as well on Myers saying he left over 1 million and I believe Myers beucase $$$ was the same issue that held up the Hopkins singing.
After parading him around the entire organization, all around town ,steak dinner.. and you don't sign him over kibbles and bits.. meanwhile as the herald also reported.. bills staffers were bein paid less than HS football coaches. While he's making millions.

This always struck me as the out of touch "pay your dues" boomer nonsense. I am all for paying your dues but you need to pay people enough to survive.

So the "Offensive leaders" of this team weren't on board with these two bozos being named offensive coaches. Imagine my shock

Brady and Alex could cure concussions, Tom could also simultaneously play QB, block, rush the passer, defend the run, tackle and cover receivers. He had magic powers.
Don’t forget he could catch passes as well. :O

I still maintain that Belichick is the greatest coach of all time, but his decisions the last few years here are things you would expect from the worst coaches in the league.

These guy's aren't living in a three-family in Woonsocket and shopping for groceries at the Dollar General.

Really! I mean you ask these people to work 14,15 hour days, and pay them less than HS coaches. That's ridiculous. Most of the people he hired have degrees from prestigious universities. I guess the allure of working under Bill when the organization was winning was the attraction.

Last I checked he had 7 superbowls, left the organization and won immediately in an entirely different organization and culture.. in the superbowl that he could " catch passes " he only put up 505 and ****ted on the eagles defense.. other than that not much just the GOAT QB.

The worst part of it to me was that Bill allegedly wanted to double down and bring Patricia back at OC again last year but was told no. When posters on a message board are calling out Bill's errors in real time it was certainly time to move on.

Yet, hand job Bob goes and extends BB for another season.

Team Bill:

When a BB decision works out well: Great move Bill!
When it doesn't: Collaboration

Lol

Team Bill:

It's Brady's fault Bill's got a 450 lifetime winning percentage without TB12 as his starting QB.

Pretty high.. I didn't think the % was even that high... well Mac did win him 7 games in a row his rookie season...

Old news. We've all spent 2 years since saying the same thing.
There's no need to pile on BB anymore. He's out, and likely done for good. (which is what Kraft wants too - but not for spite, but to get what he didn't with Brady... a sole Patriot HoF induction)

I agree. But IMO as instrumental as RK has been to the league especially financially.. he single handled is the reason each NFL team gets 300 million for the TV contracts.. should be a first ballot HOF induction..

Lol
Team Brady when the team wins:

Brady is great, amazing; look at how he can lead the team to victory on his shoulders

Team Brady when the team loses:

BB is holding back Brady and hamstringing the team

Anyone with a lick of sense knows neither of those binary, black/white portrayals are accurate representations of reality. It was a mutually beneficial relationship and neither person likely achieves the heights they did without the other.

Yet, small-minded, tribal folks are still going on, fighting this unthinkably asinine battle on the internet, here at PF … and for what?

Anyone who really believes Mac Jones was "ruined" is going to go forever in the wilderness not understanding what he sees when QBs do their thing.

Jacoby Brissett would have been a massive upgrade over Mac with several wins +

Damien Harris can say all he wants about how bad Matt Patricia was, but I've seen Mac Jones play under Bill O'Brien, and it wasn't pretty.

Lol massive? They're 6 of one half dozen of another it's just that one is a mid round journeyman backup while the other was a first round pick.

I wouldn’t in a million years have thought BB would sabotage a team…but…the facts of what happened with the offense are pretty clear. This leaves one to believe one of two things happened:

1. He got so insular, and arrogant that he woefully misjudged the importance of offensive football, just how great TB was AND lost the ability to bring in the right players.

2. He sabotaged the team, even if subconsciously, by orphaning the offense in favor of his Defense.

Either way, he had to go.

I’m not convinced Mayo is the guy, but willing to give him a fair shot.
