Damien Harris speaks out about the dysfunction on the Patriots offense in 2022

Nah you were waving the pom poms for Zappe big time.
I could lie and say you work the glory holes at the Pleasure Emporium downtown... doesn't make it true.
He sucks. Tebow had over a 100 rating in that playoff game vs Pitt... guess that means he was great too.

Denial... not just a river in Egypt
Two Zappe starts were the highest point totals posted by the team in 2022... good or bad he was better than Mac.

Oh no...

Mac was a puzzy who slapped opponents in the balls, blamed teammates and ran up the backstairs to complain to the owner that his boss was being hard on him. But you think Mac was good?

So Mac will take Trevor Lawrence's job in a pretty good situation in Jacksonville... got it.

I'm making a list of you guys so can have a big laugh at this later.

I am glad you aren't upset I don't take you seriously because you aren't afraid of making posts like this.

You did not address one thing I said. You just decided to put words in my mouth and made up stuff about Mac. When was it ever reported that Mac Jones ran to Kraft?

Again, whether or not I feel Mac was good or not is irrelevant to this part of the conversation. I said that Mac could be the worst QB of all time and that doesn't change the fact that Belichick did everything possible for him to fail. I don't get why you cannot admit that.

And I certainly never said he was going to replace Trevor Lawrence. In fact, in the part you you quoted me on to post this jibberish I said that in a hypothetic situation of him being drafted by the 49ers and still sucking that you could still admit he was set up to fail here.

Take names. I don't care. I don't get whole concept of waiting years to be proven right about an argument and then rubbing it in the faces of anonymous posters online who disagreed with you. It seems to be more about your insecurities than anything else.

"You better be here after the game"... then crickets when your guy got skunked by the worst defense in the NFL. Yikes

Which literally any QB could have done. Even Jones. No he was not better than him.

He's got a lot of work ahead of him for that to happen. New attitude too. He can't be "one of the guys" if he wants to lead.

He is a former first round pick. They all get multiple chances. How many times has Mitch Trubisky failed as a starter and then started again?

We have absolutely no idea what would have happened without collaboration. It might have failed spectacularly, it might have worked out in time. You're just pretending to know at this point.

But you think Mac is good and just misunderstood, he'll be good now in a better situation... let's revisit this later.

The only collaboration was agreement not just with the Patriots but around the league that Bill was way past his best before date and it's best for him to walk away as a coach.

Did I say that? Stop putting words in my mouth. I said that Mac might have been good in a situation where they built the offense around him and he had a lot of weapons like in San Fran. Never said it was definite. I said it might have been.

And when he fell apart mentally and was completely broken last year, I stated he would never want him to be the QB of this team ever again even if they built around him. I don't think he has the mental toughness. And I admitted I underestimated those criticisms of him when he was drafted.

So even when you can "declare victory" over me at a later date, you will be doing so for things I never said. Stop making up what I said and read what I said.

Just spitballing here.

How about the way Kraft bailed on him and Brady with the the BS the league accused him of?

Putting a “HOF” owner in his place?

What the league did to the Pats to bring them back to the pack was a travesty, and Kraft allowed it to happen.
I completely agree with you in regards of how spineless Kraft was on multiple occasions in regards to the NFL, Goodell and other owners. It was a pitiful disgrace.

And while I agree with the premise that Belichick could have been enamored with the thought of putting Robert Kraft in his rightful place for those egregious transgressions, I am still skeptical that Belichick would conjure up a plan that would inflict so much self harm.

Mac only played 11 games in 2023. I think four of them, he was pulled by halftime. That means over a third of the season he didn't play. And the Patriots were the 30th ranked offense. It is partially Mac's fault, but clearly wasn't all his fault.

Isn’t funny how none of these people saying Mac was bad only because of Bill will say that he will be good now… wonder why?

Looks like Wozzy provided you the information..
I saw a report he wasn't onboard but not Bill saying it. Honestly I am a little suspicious. Jakobi stated he wanted to be back and that the difference in the Vegas offer was only a million so I think Bill could have matched if he truly wanted him back. If Bill truly was getting vetoed on guys he wanted or didn't I don’t think he would have stayed but that is just my opinion.

The worst part of it to me was that Bill allegedly wanted to double down and bring Patricia back at OC again last year but was told no. When posters on a message board are calling out Bill's errors in real time it was certainly time to move on.
Absolutely correct. I don't think RK was going to allow that to happen hence is why BOB was hired back!
