Is Disney in a competitive sports league, where you have a salary cap, employees who have an average of 3.5 year careers, competing against 31 opponents on an even playing field? Where you must draft new employees, where about 1/4 to 1/3 of your employees miss work due to injury? Where every company ultimately falls on hard times due to the nature if the league? Where every corporation is limited to how much they can spend on employees, and must do everything within an agreement with their competitors that is designed to produce parity?
You still have to produce as a CEO. BB has to produce for Bob. Iger has to produce for the shareholders. Both BB and Iger are in the entertainment industry. Results matter. What you did in the past doesn't.

No one can deny the QB play wasn't up to Parr, however a HC is responsible for the performance of said QB.. he had no problem taking acclaim for Brady, so take the the criticism for Mac.
Well first of all he never “took acclaim” for Brady.
And of course he is responsible for the QB play.
But you don’t fire the GOAT because one position needs to be upgraded to be back in contention. When you have 100 mill in cap space to do so, and upgrade the rest of the roster too

Of course your track record matters, it defines your abilities.
The CEO of a capitalist corporation and the coach of a sports team in a league where competitors agree to rules that produce parity is like comparing squirrels to chocolate cakes.

Name some that have the track recurs similar to belichick in a scenario where they have an agreement with their competitors that is designed to priced parity. Where there is a salary cap, draft of employees that gives preferences to the bad companies, etc etc
It’s an ignorant comparison.
Can you name 5 successful CEOs who got fired by the way, since “it happens every day”
Do you think a fired CEO gets publicly announced? Like it will when ultimately Kraft will have to in about 2 weeks? This is a sport football, not real life! CEOs that run real business that make real impact in the world. The lives of mens and women each day out there. Not a great HC who has been legendary and now constructs a team with " guys he likes" worst roster compilation in team history, bad contracts, bad QB play. Get over your man love for Bill. Open your eyes!

Lol lol you gotta be kidding. Me never took acclaim for brady!! Hahaha haha

Nope. Movies are entertainment. Football is entertainment. Both are results-driven industries. Disney isn't lining up on a Sunday against Paramount on a field but they do battle each other at the box office.

So why are you comparing the 2? I’m the one saying it’s a stupid comparison, you are the one making it.

And yes CEOs getting fired us publically announced. So since you don’t know that and couldn’t name 5 I’ll assume, like must of your opinions “CEOs get canned every day” is something you pulled out of thin air.

Why would I “get over” wanted the greatest to ever do the job to remain with the team I root for? A Better question is why are you so weak in the conviction of your argument that after just agreeing this is a playoff team with mediocre qb you call it the worst roster “compilation” in TEAM HISTORY, and try to insert some kind of gay insult?

Disney doesn’t have an operating agreement with Paramount to penalize the better company, and give favor to the lesser to create parity.

And no football is a competitive sport, not entertainment.

When did he “take acclaim” for Brady? Please give some examples and quotes.

If you're not actively playing the sport and you're watching the game in the stands or at home, it's entertainment.

We aren’t talking about watching from home, we are talking about the football team and it’s results.

If it’s entertainment then winning would be irrelevant.

Ok.. so your happy the last 3 seasons? Last 3 seasons Your used too going to AFC Championships now Your going to cancun. Is that good production? An no what does man love have to do with gay? Of course I would insult someone if they were anyhow. Your post are insulting enough to us.

In the grand scheme of things, it is.

The Chiefs won the Super Bowl earlier this year. It did not change my life in the slightest.

Like Brady said "This isn't ISIS. Nobody's dying".

Rookie QB is ALWAYS a crapshoot in the NFL. Always. And not a single QB from that draft class is performing well. It happens.

Notice the Bears, the Jags, the Jest are all still uncertain with their picks (highwer than the Pats) and the only reason SF got bailed out was because Purdy stepped up and covered over the Lance explosion.

When? When did BB do that? Show me an example, and I don't mean a Felger clip.

Worse case scenario and I think a real possibility is BB gets fired, we get a new GM/HC, and Kraft forces Mac on the new regime.

No they aren’t. They’re not missing the playoffs by a little bit like last year they aren’t even close

The problem is the roster is getting worse and Bill can't identify talent in the draft on offense or worse just doesn't think much of it.

I mean we had clear talent issues on offense going into the season and first 4-5 picks were defense. Juju over Meyers, Then DeAndre Hopkins falls in our lap and we offer him an insulting incentive laden deal as if we still have Brady and are competing for super bowls.

If I didn’t understand things I’d be all angry and want to punish someone also.
But I understand how things work.
Every team has down periods. An NFL team is a member of a group that has rules conspiring to make good teams worse and bad teams better to produce parity.
Being on top of 20 years is all but impossible. When the down period comes after that and because of decisions made to extend it, a reasonable person can’t be irate that it finally happened. It’s inevitable.
Rebuilding in the NFL is hard. Look across the league it almost never happens fast, and almost never takes in the first version.
Had the qb pick worked out (and I don’t see how you can argue against making the pick at the time) they would have stayed contenders after a quick reset. It didn’t and the team has been held back by the QB.

Sure, the easy thing to do is to act like “going to the afc cg every year” is your standard and belichick isn’t up to it, but it’s not, it’s a standard only belichick has ever attained and your perceived birthright to it is because of him. Sure the east thing to do is the get really angry, find a target, and call for punishment because as an observing fan who literally has no choice but to accept that the organization does, you must require punishment.

I chose to use my brain. This organization was built by the best ever to do it.
Rather than seek vengeance through a “I’m a sb fan, get rid of that coach who isn’t up to my standard” idiocy, I see the best way forward as keeping in place the man who has proven to be the best who ever did it. I can’t fathom who you could possibly want to bring in that would be more likely to be able to start the next dynasty.

*and yes “man love” is an insult trying to imply someone is gay. But you knew that when you typed it so stop playing dumb

So you don’t care whether the patriots won or lose, it’s all just meaningless entertainment, yet you post here and trash them when they lose?
BS

Ok Trevor Lawrence.. his teams winning no matter the struggles. Is this patriots team winning? If so show me some examples?

Agreed it is toss up when drafting a QB. Not every one hits. We were blessed with one for 19 seasons..

On your examples I'd urge you to read the Seth wickersham material on brady,Bill and Bobby Kraft. ( this isn't felgah)

Gives you In depth 1st person accounts of all the great men aforementioned above. And how things went down..
