so McDermott is out, concussion. the NFL is super cautious with concussions (not out of concern for player safety, for fear of $ damages)...so apparently there's a sliding scale with concussion history. basically, and to simplify (and this is simply an example, so spare me me then"AKSHULLY" ********)...one concussion, one missed game, two, three missed, etc, etc.
DeMarrio Douglas missed three games for a concussion. Schuster, Parker, and Douglas are all concussion guys ..this will impact next season hugely because guaranteed these guys will all miss time if they so much get a glancing blow to the helmet.
the concussion protocol will eventually impact player salaries because guys with histories are less reliable....so that new protocol is actually going to save the $ grubbing owners $ over the long haul...
