Except for the 5 times he's had a pick in the top half of the draft, right? He just sat there and took his guy. Only failed once: Mac Jones.
Yes, a couple spots. But he didn't take himself outside the thick of those drafts.I think BB traded down before selecting Mayo and Gonzales.
In 1972, Ed Muskie was the front runner for the Democratic presidential nomination. However, in responding to a false accusation in the Manchester Union Leader, it was reported that he cried. (It was outdoors and snowing at the time, so it was unclear if there were tears or melted snow. Muskie denied crying.) In any event, the alleged crying incident ended his chances for gaining the Democratic nomination.Crying let's out all negative thoughts or disappointments to begin things afresh . So not sure why we want to label crying as emotionally less mature .
Sometimes folks have too many things bottled up and it causes depression and other mental issues.
I am not saying you are meaning that, but your statement states otherwise.
I think Chicago should select an OT and Nabers with their second pick this would do wonders to their offenseIf we have a chance to take Caleb and we pass over him, it will be the single worst decision the franchise has ever made.
I see a guy with unreal arm talent. A guy who has great awareness in the pocket. He just moves around it beautifully and he finds it very easy to get reset as he's moving. These are huge intangibles.
He has a very short compact throwing motion that allows him to have a very quick release.
Of the 3 QBs we're comparing, he's the only one who is processing in these videos. You see him move through his progressions quickly. He surveys the entire field. Maye and Daniels, on the other hand, are locked in.
I would trade up to get him if Chicago is antsy at all.
I think the Patriots finish 4-13 which gets them to the 2nd pick. I am not convinced that Chicago is going to take a QB but it would be a big mistake for them not to take Caleb. If they're not sure, give them a sweetener and move up, because I'm sure they'll want Harrison.
I would probably lean toward maye over Williams because I can’t watch any 6‘0 qb anymore but I haven’t watched them
I saw some lsu games and I like daniels
Maybe daniels would be available in a very small trade down which nets another day 2 pick
Anyway I don’t want to see a defense player draft till day 3
I like the scenario where there is a slight trade down for a second rounder and then pick Daniels..I would probably lean toward maye over Williams because I can’t watch any 6‘0 qb anymore but I haven’t watched them

Yep. McCarthy has Zack Wilson written all over it.Stay away from McCarthy..
I’d compare Daniels to Hurts/Jackson; although I did like RG3 pre-injury. McCarthy isn’t even as talented as Zack Wilson. At least with Wilson, you could see his immense talent at BYU. McCarthy is a JAG IMHO..Yep. McCarthy has Zack Wilson written all over it.
I like Daniels but he has RG3 written all over it.
Williams is the closest thing that exist to Mahomes and Maye could become a Josh Allen type
That was one of my concerns with Carson Wentz. My pick is Daniel’s as well. He is just a tad reckless with his body, shows no fear. Great arm and scrambling ability. Hate the fact that he makes Kelly look like a good coach.
I don’t remember which season it was, but one week there were like five QBs starting who were drafted, or otherwise brought into the NFL, by BB.Slightly off topic but something I can't stop thinking about amidst all the "BB should be fired" or "BB should be stripped of GM" and a crop of 6 or more QB prospects is: In such a class who would you rather have evaluating those QBs than BB? He's made a career out of tormenting young QBs and clearly has insight into how they think. All these QB prospects are athletic and have tons of highlight reels but to really figure out their value you need to get them in a room and let a guy like BB figure out how they think about the game.
In past years we never picked high enough to get every QB in a film room with BB because the top ones knew they weren't coming to New England. This year there isn't a consensus number one and so we have a legit shot at all of them which means they all need to visit. I can't think of anyone better than BB to figure out how they process the game in between their ears.
From my calculations, New England will finish with the fourth pick.
Brisket?I don’t remember which season it was, but one week there were like five QBs starting who were drafted, or otherwise brought into the NFL, by BB.
Trying to remember:
Brady
Matt Cassell
Ryan Mallett
Matt Gutierrez
??????
