While true, as someone whose Beankie had been Jakobi since 2019 training camp, I can confidently say there's a big difference when there's a much faster guy on the field... even going back to Byrd's injury halfway through the last game in 2020 against the Jets. Having Jakobi and Parker as the main WRs starting 2020 was so incredibly dumb it pisses me off still today... and I hate calling anyone dumb even online.

I think JuJu has more natural talent as a receiver, but he doesn't do anything to try and elevate his game...

Jakobi is a scrapper though, almost edelman-esque... he works hard / fights for everything he gets...

This guy is blasting his teammates, getting chewed out by coaches, 2x now in 3 weeks he refuses to give any effort when the ball isn't going to him, he was known as a knucklehead in college.

I'm not sure how long this kind of behavior is going to be condoned in Pittsburgh.

Penix will find the ir before he finds Thornton. One healthy season in 5 years is something to think about. NFL comparison should be Jimmy Glass Garapolo.

Even worse than Jimmy G. in that he's going to come in the NFL with a serious injury history.

Dobson was ok now that I thought about it If Harry or Thornton put up Dropping numbers we'd be ok with it. What does that tell you? We reach for some players.

Thornton's one strength is his straight line speed. He doesn't run great routes and has suboptimal hands. (And a strong breeze can knock him over because of his slight frame).

Gisucky is another Phins cast-off BB has been coveting for years and finally had a chance to get him. There's a reason why the Phins let him go.
