I am not a Zappe supporter…at all…I think he sucks. But, I think he should start. One last chance to see what you got.
I see no point in starting Jones.

Corky Mac can beat the Giants.

The pitiful 2023 Giants are the Patriots without Belichick. Play Corky and let him win this one and that will generate momentum for a few more starts.

I think at this stage they really don't know who they'll start, they're still evaluating. But it's most likely between Mac or Zappe. IMO they probably need to see Mac be quite a bit better than Zappe to continue to trust him as the starter considering how bad he's been. If Mac looks only slightly better than Zappe in practice, you may as well play Zappe, because he hasn't yet proven he's dogshit during live-fire like Mac has. You already know Mac sucks, but you don't know for sure about Zappe yet. Worst case scenario is Zappe also sucks. Oh well.

Could be a platoon like the preseason. Mac gets the first half Zappe the second. Then switch it the following week and so on.

Zappe has a 36 QB rating in relief of Mac this season so I’m not expecting much either way…

Zappe needs to start and play the whole game. He’s an improvement on Corky. Not saying a lot, but the onfield performance of Mac Jones has punctured what little air remains with the team.

Won't move the needle for me at all. No evidence to date whatsoever that Zappe doesn't suck. But if he does play well maybe he'll improve on that zero trade value he has right now.
