Really? 999999.999999% of the time a 15-20 air yard throw over the middle of the field (with multiple defenders in the area) to a very well covered receiver into a 2-inch window the worst case scenario is an incomplete pass?
I don’t blame Mac for the INT (though he’s extremely lucky he completed the previous 4th down “pass.”) However, throwing into man coverage, where the receiver has almost zero separation, has an inherent risk, which many (including the broadcasters) thought was a poor risk:reward decision given the clock, down, and distance.
