Mac accused of hitting Sauce in the junk!

Mac definitely put his arm there
“Definitely“? Where is the clear picture that convinces you? I’m not seeing anything definite, maybe you can shed some light on this.

Meanwhile Queen from the Murderer-worshippers is taking a victory lap. Maybe the statue of the convicted felon they have outside their stadium inspired him to take a free shot, just like their exalted hero did with the two victims in Atlanta. OK Mac Jones is dirty scum while Mr. Missing White Suit is getting his ass kissed by the same folks.

it’s narrative engineering folks, Belichick Derangement Syndrome “and more.”

I’ve watched Mac Jones slide kick someone directly in the balls, blatantly, on purpose, clearly.

I’m not gonna’ act like it’s outside the realm.

If he did it, fine/suspend him and move on. If not, shut up about it. Tired of hearing about it.

Agree. A real nothing burger this one. If it was a hard hit, the medical staff would have come out. There are lots of fines for dirty hits and this is the one non-hit that gets discussed.

Mac's only transgression was not realizing he was playing Plink-O with a snitch.

One thing stands out watching this: Nearly every player was relaxed, looking towards their coaches for the next playcall or just casually standing around waiting... when suddenly Mac slammed into a linebacker, who returned the favor by slamming him to the ground.

I'd have called it as: Unnecessary roughness by offense #10, offset by unnecessary roughness by #57 defense. And also unnecessary roughness by Sauce, enforced at the end of the run. First down.

The refs were not going to call anything. Our receiver got hit in the head by the CB before the ball arrived with the ref staring at it and the ref said, "Nope, not interference."

Agreed, just stating what I'd have called if I had been there as an impartial judge.

Totally agreed. And if they had called the first two when they should have, there probably wouldn't have been the "hitting" incident or the shove by Sauce. I put the end of that all on the refs for not getting control of it when they should have.

Also, the clip shows that Macs teammates were pretty quick to defend him after the bodyslam. But they were so busy dealing with that that they didn't even notice Sauce's shove.

Wow. They really did not have Mac's back at all. That LB slammed him hard to the ground by his neck.

And Parker ran over immediately to get the LB off Mac, to the point that the ref pushes Parker away. Zeke and Mafi are also over there pretty quick. Or were you expecting them to continue fighting through the many many whistles the whole time just because Mac did?

All they did was shove some of the Jets after their QB was slammed to the ground. I've seen lineman throw hay makers for less than that when their Qb is roughed after the play.

You know Mankins isn't on the team anymore, right? There's a guy who would have gotten into it.

And they had probably been instructed to not get so many stupid penalties all through camp because there were so many of them last season. 4th and 1. To be honest, they were smarter about it than Mac was.
