One less option for the Giants, and a significant one at that. I think the Giants would've passed on QB at 3 if they were paying for Stafford. There's still FA options, but hard to see them paying up for Darnold, and the remaining guys are short term options. Even if they sign a guy like Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers, I can't see them skipping the long term QB option at 3. Makes it more likely the Giants end up with Sanders and the Pats end up with one of Hunter or Carter.
It's the right move by the Rams. Out here in Southern CA, we are very picky with with what we do since we have so many options. Sports teams have to give us a reason to watch.
