It's easy, and only takes a few moments. You might be exaggerating a bit, but yes indeed he did predict the Jets would win this year's Super Bowl and when challenged he only leaned in harder.I know there are a couple people on here that listen to the Around the NFL podcast and know that the main host, Dan Hanzus, is a huge Jets homer and a huge Patriots basher. He has openly reveled in any small failure that came upon us in the Brady era and gleefully recaps every loss in the post-Brady era. Hanzus also did a Hard Knocks recap podcast after each episode over the summer and gushed about how great the Jets are going to be and how they are going to win the Super Bowl. Currently I am listening to the Around the NFL recap podcast of last night listening to him completely devastated and I can't help but smile.
I definitely had Rodgers not lasting the season behind that OL, I quoted the posts last night.WOW!!!! I got to get some lottery numbers from this guy!! He predicted at 6:01 PM last night that Rodgers was going to tear his Achilles!!

It's the long game with Bill. That draft day trade down with the Squealers is looking even better now.
Teams have had multiple weeks to sign him for nothing and to at one point claim him off waivers. Neither happened. No one is trading a bologna sandwich for the guy.Whatever helps you sleep at night chief. Don't forget to @ me if you want to call me out.
And who on earth would want Zappy Smurf in a trade?
Me:Seems to me that a lot of people here claim to absolutely hate the Jest.
But they don't really.
Those final two years mean that Rodgers will have leverage in 2025 to try and get a new deal. He will be 42 by then, but with the prospect of $86.5 million hanging over the Jets across two years, they may very well be willing to offer him another deal.
The signing and option bonuses mean it will be close to impossible for the Jets to move on. They would have $66.161 million in dead money if they moved on ahead of 2024. There would then be $49 million in dead money if they released him in 2025. Although, that would represent a saving of $2.5 million from his cap number.
Ultimately, the decision for the Jets in 2025 will likely be the following:
1) Extend Rodgers’ contract, pushing the salary cap pain into the future.
2) Release him in 2025, saving $37.5 million in cash, but having him count $49 million against the salary cap.
3) Play out the deal at a cost of $51.5 million in 2025, with a further dead money hit of $35 million in 2026.
Remember when everybody was so impressed that Rodgers “settled for less” with the Jets and that free agents would flock there to play with him?
The Jets have tried pretty much every avenue possible to obtain a franchise QB. They took big swings unlike the recent Colts, Broncos, Commanders, and Panthers. They’ve just been held back by the fact that they’re the Jets and they don’t deserve nice things.
The ATN Hard Knocks episodes were brutal. I did about 2 and half before I stopped listening to them. I agree on Dan using the Giants success against Gregg/The Patriots is pretty embarrassing for him. The Jets are the little brother in their own city. They play in the Giants stadium (I don't care what they call it) and Dan even said before that his dad absolutely hates the Giants and the fact that so many people think the Jets are little brother so it's somewhat odd he uses that as ammo but I guess what else does he have? You might be exaggerating a bit, but yes indeed he did predict the Jets would win this year's Super Bowl and when challenged he only leaned in harder.
I did not listen to any of the ATN Hard Knocks episodes, I knew they would be unsufferable with the Jets being featured and as Dan as host.
I think Dan's biggest sin is taking on Giants fandom just to try to stick it to Pats fans. He could give a **** less about the Giants but he needs some way to feel less bad about being stuck as a part of the ****tiest fan base in sports so he struts around wearing the colors of an enemy. It's a bad, bad look.
Indeed. ATN has a Reddit page I post to from time to time under a different alias. I made a recent post saying I think their last three podcasts before the season started were not great. What I wrote was that they are often too self-referential, they are breathing their own exhaust a lot. The really could use a fourth person in the Wes role, a strong analyst who keeps Dan and Marc from diving into the mirth and hot takes too much. The ATN Hard Knocks episodes were brutal.
