That's fine. But he was not some major earth shaker. He would have definitely cleared waivers.why him over Cunningham who shows more potential .

They gave seen every offseason snap of his since April at least twice. They obviously see potential.

Doesn't matter....Amer Speed is 6'3", 210 lbs, and ran a 4.33/40 vs. Myles Bryant who is 5'9", 192 lbs., and ran a 4.62/40.

I say coach up the kid and see if we don't get lucky, no?

Why is it depressing? A good draft is 3 guys. We still have 5, plus Wheatley who Strong was traded for, so 6. Looks like 4 to 6 will stick which is a fabulous draft.

Average NFL career is 3 years. 2019 is way past their best used by date.

Certainly Strange, M. Jones, and Roberts are looking fine.

But Jack Jones has trended down, and Thornton is really starting to be a concern.

I agree, but Speed was not good as a DB at Georgia (didn't play much), so he transferred to Michigan State. He played DB at MSU and was not a good DB there. I think Speed is the new Slater, great on special teams but only used as an emergency other than that.
