Pats could have had him in 2020 draft. They had 24th pick and he went 26th. BB (the genius) opted to trade the 24th pick for the 37th and a third rounder. They picked Duggar, who is a good player...BUT not a franchise altering pick like Love could have been.
If they had picked Love, they would not have had to pick Jones in 21 and could have chosen Jalen Phillips or Darisaw.
Its still early, but if you look at them on tape and their physical attributes...Love has a much greater chance to be a true franchise QB.
Hurts’ development hasn’t been all that rapid for the people who have been following him since his senior year in high school or since he arrived at Alabama.

All fans do this, but honestly, I'd rather have the luxury of letting a guy develop on the bench for a bit than tossing him out there early. QB is such a mental game and so many get confidance issues and bad habits. Peyton Manning as great as he was, got rushed out on a ****ty Colts team, led the league in INT's and then even when he was amazing always had a higher uptick in interceptions compared to his peers.Oh please, you would have been insufferable if the Pats had picked Jordan Love and he did nothing worthwhile in his first three seasons.
Bro what? Yeah, we're basically set at FS for the foreseeable future but we COULD have a glaring uncertainty at QB insteadThey picked Duggar, who is a good player...BUT not a franchise altering pick like Love could have been.
There were? I don’t remember that, honestly. I didn’t think so. He had improved every year at college and really started to show progress when he transferred to Oklahoma and learned from Riley. Great move for Hurts. I actually wanted the Pats to draft him when he came out. His attitude, improvement in the pocket, and work ethic made him seem like a no-brainer pick for the Pats.people forget that before last season there were questions if the Eagles should move on....
We have yet to see the 2023 version of the Joker.I say Jordan Love. He has a rocket for an arm extremely mobile, big and strong. He looked very good last night. He has a chance to be this year's Jaylen Hurts.

He won at Bama. He won at Okie. He took his club to the Super Bowl. There were? I don’t remember that, honestly. I didn’t think so. Have to remember.. Mac was selected for a number of reasons.. the relationship with Saban, the organization wanted led A QB who could run the Brady offense.I say Jordan Love. The way the game is these days, teams rarely have the luxury of letting a QB sit for 2 or 3 years and when they do he loses a lot of his value. All fans do this, but honestly, I'd rather have the luxury of letting a guy develop on the bench for a bit than tossing him out there early. Case in point fans already lost patience with Mac Jones who was viewed as pro ready. In the post Brady era I don’t think the fans or team would have a lot of patience with a raw prospect like Love was.
Yep I heard that too.people forget that before last season there were questions if the Eagles should move on....
must have a munt...Yep I heard that too.
And why does Hurts squat so damn low for the snap in shotgun?
But you really don’t even need those rumors to validate why the Packers refused to move on from Rodgers for 3 years when Aaron wanted to leave. That says all you need to know.
