I think this is big. For all the talk last year about the o-line and Jones last year, the receiving corp was awful last year. Bad route running. Not looking back for the ball. Not finishing routes. Poor sideline management.
From Giardi’s report, looks like there was no accountability for receivers last year and that is going to change.
I wanted either Sean Jefferson or K McCardell for WR Coach.I tell you want else you can take from this comment. It's NOT a good look for Troy Brown.
Yea why not. He only caught 66% of his balls and led the team in YPC and yards per target.I am betting that DeVante Parker will be first on sidelines watching with OC BOB. Chalk that up to lack of separation.
Not going lie Rob I don't like Parker's skill set for our Team @ WR. We have not done well with those type of WR's.Yea why not. He only caught 66% of his balls and led the team in YPC and yards per target.
His issue is health - not poor play
BOB coached both of them. I think we’re going to find out how well they can coach pretty quickly.Troy Brown and Billy Yates didn’t do a good job last year. Let’s hope they improve.
Other than Harry, who has done poorly with Parker’s skill set? My recollection is that the Pats haven't had many big possession “jump ball” receivers. Not going lie Rob I don't like Parker's skill set for our Team @ WR. We have not done well with those type of WR's.

It was pretty obvious that at the beginning of last season Mac was coached to put the ball up for grabs by Parker. That was terrible coaching, you don't force the ball unless you are desperate, receivers good at contested catches get plenty of opportunities to show off that skill even if targeted when supposedly open.Other than Harry, who has done poorly with Parker’s skill set? But the jump ball was only one facet of Randy's skillset. He could separate, change direction, one hand it, and flat-out burn nearly any defender. And he tended to use those varied skills at the right time. The Great Randy Moss.
The Great Randy Moss.
The Great Randy Moss.
What does that say about Troy Brown's status?
That's fine. We've had worse than Parker. We aren't talking about Donald Hayes or Ocho Stinko here. The man produced and did well. Not going lie Rob I don't like Parker's skill set for our Team @ WR. We have not done well with those type of WR's.
I really think BOB will have a better idea how to use him, too. That's fine. We've had worse than Parker. We aren't talking about Donald Hayes or Ocho Stinko here. The man produced and did well.
