"Pats host Will Levis on a top-30 visit on the final day they are allowed to do so. Interesting. Could just be for scouting/due diligence, but I could also see them being legitimately interested. Potential to trade Mac for a 2nd and then trade up to 3rd with Arizona for Levis? I don't think it'll happen, but the utter refusal to discuss Mac Jones from BOB this week combined with this visit makes me wonder."

I further elaborated that if the team truly does feel that Jones and Zappe do not have a big gap between them (as reported by Breer - not sure if it is true, but recent comments make me wonder), there may be some sense in moving one of them for capital (Jones) and using said capital to draft another QB with higher upside, and letting things shake out in camp.

I'm a Mac guy and I think Mac can be much better than last year and better than his first year with better coaching and line play. But I wouldn't mind if they could somehow get someone better if the opportunity arises. I just want the team to win.

Closest to Josh Allen and Herbert to me the potential of finding that is worth multiple firsts.
A dynamic QB masks a lot of other issues on offense.

Crafting a trade could look like our first our second and a first next season along with Devante Parker.
Or a first with Matt Judon or Josh Uche.

I'm not sure how I would feel about this.

I get it from a physical talent standpoint. But I don't know the locker room will react to trading and giving up on Mac Jones
