Where are you.

Guessing this is a troll post. I'm not on team anyone.

I'm on team let's see who performs better in camp and if Mac can improve with O'Brien. If he can't then time to move on.

But selling low because the coach/GM made the boneheaded decision of putting Patricia/judge in roles they've never done before did the kid and team no favors and is unable to blame himself is just bad decisionmaking.

Right on the money. Triumph has replaced DropKickFlutie as the primary forum troll, starting threads on Mac Jones weekly to beat the drum on his agenda. It’s annoying and obnoxious, but I guess he can’t help himself from being that way.

Where are you.

Uh-oh, you did it again -- momma's on the warpath. You'd best skedaddle or get another pant load of rock salt. Last time it ruined a near-new pair of britches and you couldn't sit for two days. Remember?

Pretty much the same as above. If Mac’s the qb I’m gonna cheer the guy and hope for success. If Bill goes with Zappe pretty much the same. If they draft Levi or whoever I’m gonna be on board with that player as well.

I think the question is if our QB makes our offense suck will we still cheer for that to be the QB my answer is no.

If being on team Mac means hoping he becomes a top 10 qb, yes

If it means am I confident he will be a top 10 qb, no
this is where i am at... Mac can be a good to midlin' great qb... can being the key word... gotta see more first.

Except no one is saying that. There are some rooting for Jones to fail, simply because being right is more important to them that the team’s success does. Other than that most here, myself included, are rooting for any QB on the field to succeed.

As far as Jones goes there is legitimate cause for concern, and there are some reasons to believe in him, but most here believe that he isn’t above having to win the competition for the QB position to start for them next season. And while that may piss Jones off he was perfectly fine with taking the job from Cam Newton when he beat him out to become the starter, so he has no legitimate *****. Belichick was right to put Jones on notice that he will have to win the job, and he would have been wrong to tell the media that it’s Jones job, and then making Zappe the starter after the competition.

I think there is a possibility that Jones could become a great QB, but I would put the likelihood of it at 10% or below. At this point I think his ceiling is Kirk Cousins, which is pretty good, but certainly not great. And he would have to make big jump in play to reach that ceiling, and o I don’t see anyone here going along with the idea of giving him 40 million a year two years from now.

I agree but would put the likelihood a bit higher like 35%.

I think most of us have varying views on Jones likelihood of success, but f he’s going to do it he’s going to have to develop an all consuming drive to become great, like Brady did, but so far we haven’t seen evidence of that. I’m glad that Zappe gets the chance to push him, he needs to realize that he’s not going to get it handed to him. Hopefully we will see a dramatic improvement from him in every way when he gets to camp this year. And the first sign will be physical, as that’s the most obvious sign to pick up on. After that he has to show a complete mastery of their offense, the ability to process plays faster, mobility on the pocket, and extending plays, and more pace on his throws, when that’s called for. And if he wins the job then he has to show real leadership abilities, and not the crap we saw last season. Hopefully he shows all of this and they can compete with the rest of the AFC.

I think Mac has a consuming drive. I agree with the rest but think Mac will only get part way there this year. I think he will get there, but he is still developing, physically and skills wise, that it is going to take a few years. That is not to say he shouldn't take a huge leap this year.
