How much longer will you drink the BB kool-aid?

The WR group is fine.
Fine isn't good enough. Not with a mediocre quarterback. Fine isn't even good enough with an above average quarterback. Not when Burrow has Chase, Higgins, and Boyd. Allen has Diggs and Davis (who is still only 23). Only Mahomes can make it work with "fine" WRs but he has Kelce.

Tua is a top 5 overall pick... is he that good? He's probably a "fine" quarterback who looks really good with a dynamic duo like Hill and Waddle. Currently Mac has Juju and Parker... doesn't carry the same juice.

The point is to built a team that wins not have the shiniest toys.

It's funny how how the 2000 and early 2001 Patriots went from bums to the "best built team" in one week. Interesting.

Then the franchise with the worst winning percentage in the history of professional sports instantaneously morphed into the "best built team" in one season. Truly fantastical!
They had an axe to grind.

The 2001 Pats had to go out and make the opposition respect them.

After last year ive reduced my consumtion of koolaid by %75 when it comes to BB as the gm of the team. Last year was inexplicable, starting with the draft, and then the regular season. He knew that fat mat and others were not capable of doing their jobs but let it go on all year. He stood back as the team made the same mistakes every week over and over again.
Kraft could very well fire BB after this season.

Kraft knows that he screwed up letting Brady leave.

Brady is retired.
Unless you are trying to tell me the Patriots would have won the SB in 2020, 2021 or 2022, Brady choosing to leave had no vital impact and he would be gone now.

The 2000 team was bad, and Belichick built a champion in that offseason.

12 wins in 2019 with a clown show at WR. Edelman was the only good one. Keeping Brady means no more NE idiot WR drafting for 2020 because the job is someone elses.

Also Belichick had no plan at QB for 2020 so he goes and finds Cam in the 11th hour.

So?
They weren’t winning a SB. 3 non SB years or 3 non Sb years, what’s the difference? What was lost?
What is “idiot wr drafting for 2020”

Mac was a bleepin' rookie in 2021 and had bleepin' awful coaching in 2022. MOST. QUARTERBACKS. TAKE. YEARS. TO. MATURE. And that's when you have good things going for you.

Steve Young was a POS in Tampa with bad coaching and bad players. Goes to San Fran with Hall of Famers in the coach and player ranks, and turns into a Hall of Famer himself. THIS. IS. NOT. A. COINCIDENCE.

I'm not saying Mac's about to turn into Steve Young, but the point is we really DON'T have a good baseline on the kid yet.

LOL! No way, brother. Not with BB's $100 mil franchise quarterback Drew Bledsoe. Maybe BB's worst GM decision ever... he wouldn't have made too many more either because Drew would have sent him into unemployment in short order.

Got a first round pick for him.

Is that what you're calling Hill and Waddle? "Shiny toys." Sign me up!
Hills team traded him and won the SB. The team that got him won 0 more games than the year before.

The more you defend the post Brady NE seasons the more foolish you look. The same as your defense of Maroney.

Kraft is growing increasingly impatient with the management of his Franchise.

That was the plan all along, right? Ink him to a massive contract for 10 years, $100 mil, then hope he (still) sucks so you can flip him for a draft pick.

Plus I thought we were talking about the 2000 offseason? Moving the goalpost I see.

Are you telling me you think they would have won the SB in 20,21, or 22? Of course not. So what was lost by Brady leaving?

I know you are on the ropes when you revert to your tired old made up Maroney argument. It’s your way of admitting defeat.

Stop with the crazy talk. Hill has a ring. He's a top 5 WR in the NFL. There isn't a negative thing to be said for his game.

Did you think Brady would lead the Patriots to a SB championship in 2001? Did you give them a chance down 10 to the Legion of Boom in SB 49? 28-3... how were you feeling at that moment? Did the 2018 team look like a SB winner?

Let me guess... you had the Bucs winning the Super Bowl in 2020?

Brady gave every one of his teams a chance every single season of his entire career.

If there isn’t a negative thing to say about him and he’s a top 5 WR then I guess you’ve just demonstrated WRs don’t have that much impact on a teams success.
