I’d hope we aren’t wasting our time on him for anything other than a vet minimum roster bubble position.Probably. A workout is free.
Attainable or not, who's to say? the incentive clauses and their triggers have not been released to date afaikWell it would be prudent to know what they are before concluding he won’t achieve them. Given the contract and market I really doubt that he would have signed this if they were not attainable.
Well those details have a lot to do with the real value of the contractAttainable or not, who's to say? the incentive clauses and their triggers have not been released to date afaik
Maybe, maybe not.Well those details have a lot to do with the real value of the contract
Well, all I can say is it's going to look a lot different with Rodgers throwing to Wilson, Mims and Moore... if this trade happens... the Jete are a QB away literally..Was only playing on about a $5M salary this year. I'd definitely entertain bringing him in for in a 2 or 3 year deal for somewhere around that range. 3 years/$21M? He fits a role they need.

I think Rodgers to the Jets is a match made in hell. Him and his smug, smarmy attitude with the NY Media could lead to disaster if the season doesn't start off well and with the Chiefs, Bills, and the NFC East on their schedule there is a chance they might not come out of the gate strong.Well, all I can say is it's going to look a lot different with Rodgers throwing to Wilson, Mims and Moore... if this trade happens... the Jete are a QB away literally..
Garrett Wilson himself is already a problem for us at WR.. I have to hope BB has a plan in FA on defense at the corner position.
We need more than Jonathan Jones, we need more at CB than currently constructed.. Any physical 6"0 CBs that can play press man need apply..
Makes sense to me. Starting slot WR, depth at PR to spell Marcus Jones who is seeing a ton of snaps between DB, PR and occasional WR. Already has some familiarity with the system. Probably not that much money. Hopkins/Parker/Bourne/Thornton/Berrios? Then extend one of Parker or Bourne during the season to keep your WR room mostly intact for a few years.
I would be fine with bringing him in with low guarantees and seeing if someone else beats him out. I think he’s fine but not spectacular. We need to have better than him if we're really serious about trying to give Mac what Brady had at that position here.
Oh with a doubt I'm in agreement with you on that.. I was just referring too if it did work out and he came here and got in sync with those WRs.. We'd be seeing alot of the back of the jerseys on the CB'S if upgrades weren't made.. I believe we also have the Chiefs as well this season..I think Rodgers to the Jets is a match made in hell. Agree but he did play for the Jette…so theirs that. He also has a 6.72 3-cone….nothing to sneeze about. Lastly he has a unusual name to rhyme with. Braxton VeryNo’s. Maybe not.We need to have better than him if we're really serious about trying to give Mac what Brady had at that position here.
I forgot about the heated BB/Theilen exchange. You're probably right. There is zero chance BB has him on this team.
When it comes to FA I think we need to be considering all viable options who can help us.. the patriots culture is deeply engrained.. set by guys like ty law, bruschi, izzo, Ted Johnson, McGinest, to name a few and carried on by brady.. no one person will ever alter That no matter who we sign..I forgot about the heated BB/Theilen exchange. You're probably right.
I do like him a WR though. He called Bill a cheater. Better off calling him anything else but that...I forgot about the heated BB/Theilen exchange. You're probably right.
Jets released Berrios - I'm serious that I think he could do really well back where he started. He has Edelman-like qualities.
A year ago he produced more than Bourne & Agholor. And can back up M. Jones on PR and KR
Well those details have a lot to do with the real value of the contract
