Do you watch much patriots football? KB amassed over 800 yards with a real offense, the year before that as a role player in the Shanahan offense he had over 600 yards.. sorry if he's not randy moss.he wasn't involved last season.. the guy was a playmaker for us.. a reciever last I checked has to have hands, speed.. so where is the lie?
Sorry that you've never seen a Patriots game in your life. You missed out on 6 Super Bowl victories.

Jakobi has been doing it year after year even with the likes of Cam Newton.

Bourne had 1 great year.

Guess what? It wasn't as good as Algholor's one great year. In fact, Bourne's first 6 years haven't been as good as Algholor's.

Meyers has been better than both. He's been an 800 yard guy even with shoddy QB play.

Bourne was by far a more effective WR in 2021 than Meyers. It's not even close. Bourne had issues with Patricia from the get go questioning the offense. Bill and Patricia put their politics ahead of the team and put him on a timeout. Many people in the media wanted Bourne to take Meyers reps and even traded.

Meyers gets the most targets because his routes are the easiest for the QB to throw to. If he strictly lined up on the outside, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation of him being the most "productive" WR.

How was he "far more?" Where are you guys getting this stuff?

If Bourne is by far the more effective WR, why hasn't he been utilized by the teams he's been on? You can blame Patricia for last year -- MAYBE -- but he's been in the league for 6 years!

The numbers don't show Bourne has been far more effective than Meyers. Even in that year we're talking about Meyers had more yards. If the routes Meyers runs are so easy, every NFL team would have someone who could do it. Many of these WRs simply cower when they go over the middle like Meyers does.

So your admiting you don't watch much patriots football. I understand it's ok I'll educate you if you can be educated.

Myers was undrafted and worked his way into becoming a consistent realiable WR. No one is disputing that they guy makes awesome catches and made the offense go last season. I said Bourne wasn't involved last season, if you want Google or YouTube or whatever you would like as a search engine can take you too it.

The team was 8-9 last season as well and 10-7 before however you don't have to take my word for it Google can catch you up for the all The Patriots news you need.

Don't get so mad. It's only a message board

But have it your way, you're right. From all your extensive years of watching, you have developed an impressive expertise. You know, for instance, what receivers should be getting more playing time. Let Bill Belichick and the SF 49ers coaches know everything you've learned. I'm sure they'll find your discoveries invaluable.

Bourne had 56 less targets and had 66 less yards to Meyers, had 5 plays over 40 yards to Meyers 0, had 10 plays 20+ yards to Meyers 12, Bourne had more YAC, yards per reception, TD's, and way higher QB rating when thrown. It's that simple. Again, it wasn't even close.

Because Bill let's his own interests get in the way of the team as we've seen before. The fact that Jordan-Humphry was getting more snaps tells you everything you need to know. That is dysfunction.

Yes it does, See above. Bourne blew Meyers out of the water in terms of efficiency which is why the media and fans wanted Bourne to supplant Meyers in 2022.

He had one good year. Jakobi has more good years even though he's been in the league for less time. Jakobi has been consistent and productive in his years. He did it with Cam Newton for heaven's sake. And the fact is, the receivers who go over the middle like Jakobi does will get less YPC but they get clobbered. A lot of WRs are either incapable or unwilling to do that. That doesn't make them less productive or less effective. One could argue that because it keeps drives going, they are MORE effective.

If I had to choose, I'd take Meyers over Bourne every day and twice on Sunday. Not in the same league - one's a 2, the other a 3-4.

It's all good just having a little fun that's all no problem!

Judon out there tweeting breaking news Hopkins to NE, sure it’s BS.

You had the AZ DC laughing openly about the Pats offensive scheme. That speaks for itself.
Yes!!! I remember the press conference him saying it looks like a defensive coordinator trying to call offense lol

One has to wonder a guy so accomplished, meticulous, egotistical, maniacal with his football operation as BB his team being public laughed at had to bother him.. you are right... speaks for itself...

I complimented you on your outstanding expertise and now you're getting upset again and calling me names. Take the win. But before you do, make sure you contact the NFL coaches with your incredible suggestions.

I honestly feel like KBs going to be included in some sort of trade...

We've seen players get doghoused before ,but this thing was all season long... when he did get extended minutes he shined..

Myers is a 3rd down machine I like them both!

I like them both too. KB's UFA deal was 3 years for $15M. Do you think Meyers will get the same offer 3/$15M?

Yes, he's on a reasonable deal... I can definitely see Myers getting something like that a 3 yr 15, or 18 million deal.. I think he'll be suprised where his market will be..
So you think Meyers will get 3 years at $5M to $6M a year, or 3 years at $15M to $18M per year? KB got 3 years at $5M a year.
