Bob Kraft on Team Mac - no trade

A trade would be stupid. Why would they dump him at fire sale prices.

Should have traded Zappe last season though. His value was highest after the Browns game and it will never be that high again.

I look forward to this thread, because it was clearly started in good faith.

Because nobody is dumb enough to pay more.

What if Corky had a bunion? They are painful.

Am I right?

I think it depends on if Curran is actually sourced here. Does he KNOW Kraft feels this way (as in, Robert or Jonathan told him so?) Curran has seemed to be fed bits of info by the Krafts in the past so it is possible. However, it could also be that Curran is just stating his opinion and has no sourced information to back that opinion, in which case this means nothing.

RKK responding to media rumors is not news. Like it or not the team is going forward with Mac next year because he is the best option. Let the coaches fix the disfunction on offense and add talent to make the team better. Revisit QB in 2024 if Mac does not work out.

Well that makes too much fekkin' sense. I think we need 10-12 pages to argue first.

Kraft did go overboard speaking glowingly about Mac Jones on Fox Business for a question about Brady. Word during the season was Kraft was extremely high on Jones. This isn't an isolated thing.

BTW, Bedard basically said on his last podcast that it is his understanding that Belichick is looking at 2023 as a fresh start for everyone and he is giving all the offensive players a bit of free pass for last year.

I'm fine with this mentality, as long as it doesn't lead to Agholor getting re-signed.

Edit: Or Wynn.

Rob- Mac we need to talk about this upcoming season now I know you had a rough time last season. Looking at the tape of you and Bailey Bill and I.
Mac interrupts, hey Bobby I didn’t know you go to miss wus house of pleasure.
Tell Ming Lee I said to go easy on you,

Rob- Mac you wouldn’t dare black mail me.
Mac- just say I’m a franchise QB and pay me as such and this stays between us,

And it shouldn’t be a fresh start for the HC. Last season’s fiasco is part of his track record now and his seat shouldn’t be as cold as it was.

I don't think any of those guys are getting much in FA Agholor sucks and Wynn is a First Round Bust! I don't see either getting a lot of guaranteed $$$$.

Trade Patriots QB Mac Jones? “That would happen over Robert Kraft’s dead body”
Ian Logue
While there have been rumors about the Patriots potentially moving on from quarterback Mac Jones this offseason, it sounds like the New England Patriots won't have that option on the table.

The post Trade Patriots QB Mac Jones? “That would happen over Robert Kraft’s dead body” appeared first on PatsFans.com.

Yeah, I just think there’s a gulf between Kraft really liking Mac and Kraft saying “over my dead body” and blocking it if Bill was seeking to trade him. But obviously, who knows if Bill is even looking at that. I think it’s doubtful; the only scenario that makes sense to me is if Bill really wanted to bring Garoppolo back.
