Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Or, and hear me out, he can live with his kids in San Francisco while she’s off alone in Costa Rica on one of her excursions with her martial arts instructor? Just a thought.
And who will watch them while he’s giving 110 percent to football? His parents? It won’t be him. He’s had it nice all these years with Gisele picking up all his slack. Now he realizes he can’t. Oh boo boo he has to put parenthood before football for once.

Tom's playing football again? Great!
It really is comical seeing people (like you) who think an NYFL player spends less time with his kids than most every other working man.
And where's your outrage over the man whose sn you wear so proudly as you troll here? He broke up a marriage to hook up with Linda when he was with the Jets.

I know BB is an a-hole, I just appreciate a play on words. I NEVER thought TB was a-hole and I still don’t. I just think he went off the rails a bit and I’m glad to see him acting like a relatable human.

Wonder if he will do the Bucs a huge favor by retiring on the designated date so they get cap relief. Doing so would probably indicate he is definitely done.

Brady became the GOAT because of his extreme level of competitiveness and endless drive to achieve what no one had achieved before. Because of this, us fans benefited by being witnesses to the greatest 23 years in any sports history.

I'm not really invested in Brady's private life. We know that about 50% of marriages end up in divorce. The top reasons for divorces are financial and infidelity. Since none of those appear to be the reasons, it must fall under irreconcilable differences. **** happens. I live in a no judgement zone so it is what it is.

Giselle's Ju-Jitsu instructor says, "Hi!"

I hope not. There a hundreds more millions of pushy in Brazil.

It never ends well for a guy to go back to his ex. Usually she makes him into a ****.

Seems the WaPo reporter thinks she already has:

Nobody but the couple knows the full story. What we do know is that Tom ultimately signed on for another season. Divorce lawyers were hired, ink was applied to papers. Then Tom’s bonus season was a bust, and Gisele posed on a beach, and maybe the quarterback came to the sobering realization of exactly how much he’d given up in order to lose to the Dallas Cowboys.

On Wednesday afternoon, Gisele responded directly to Tom’s retirement announcement. “Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life,” she posted.

Gisele’s posting was a message of pleasant remove, the sort of generically warm sentiments usually reserved for a graduation card signed by a distant aunt. It suggested that there would be no reunification, that the book of life cannot be read or lived backward, that Tom would be embarking on this new chapter with Gisele’s support but not with her.

Few of us can imagine what it would feel like to be as good at anything as Tom Brady is at football — a gift that borders on the divine, as if it were bestowed by God. But I think most of us can imagine what kinds of things he might have been feeling as he made an Instagram post promising not to get emotional and then getting emotional nonetheless.

He might have been thinking about how he’d gone to work for 23 painful, impossible years, building a legacy, setting an example, leaving it all out on the field, winning like nobody had ever won, and also losing, because nobody can win everything all the time. He might have been wondering who he would be now, without all of that. And he might have been thinking about how he’d given everything he had to a vocation, only to reach the end and wonder whether everything was enough or too much.

Whose to say who started it, Brady was on that plane with Ben Affleck’s nanny 8 years ago, but I’m sorry but you’re intentionally being obstinate if you can’t tell that this thing with Giselle and the instructor has been going on for a while.

Who's going to open the "Official 2023 Tom Brady Relationship(s) Thread"?

I liked Brady's last words: " No regrets."

And you're being intentionally or unintentionally juvenile if you can't understand a man and a woman can have a professional relationship without it being sexual. She's a very rich woman who can afford travelling fitness instructors. Her chosen career requires her having a very fit body. Chances are she values a compatible workout partner more than a **** buddy. As the man above suggests, she can find millions of swinging ****s in Brazil if that's what she's after.

Of course they can. These two particular adults however are not.

As if this has nothing to do with your need to continue ball-washing Brady by making her out to be an adultress...

Meanwhile, he got crushed by Jimmy Jones's Dallas Cowboys then made an emotional-non-emotional retirement speech on the same Florida beaches she used as a backdrop for her recent photo shoots.

Your mask slipped. At least MAC10 or whatever that guy's username is now is quite openly proud of being an incessant anti-Brady troll.

I call it like I see it. Brady was wonderful for most of his time here, team oriented, willing to take less money to help be part of a winner. It was special while it lasted. By the end of his time here he had become a primadonna, it was time for him to move on. I'm glad he did well in Tampa at least for a while, but even now he admits it's time for him to retire. My positions on his actions off the field are in the divorce thread. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he regrets not staying retired one year ago and working more on his relationship. If that makes me an anti-Brady troll in your eyes, so be it.

This nonsense with the kids drives me crazy. Brady DID NOT retire from the NFL to spend more time with his kids. He's going to be the lead analysist for Fox. He's going to be traveling all over the country, shuffling around more than if he was actually playing in the league. In fact had he continued as the Bucs quarterback for another season or two then that would have had him around his kids more (in Florida).

He's not all of the sudden going to be up for father of the year because he retired from the NFL. The time that has been freed up from his NFL retirement will now be taken up with his commitment to Fox and all of the many business ventures he has going. He's not trying to rekindle his relationship with Gisele and he's not rededicating his life to his kids. He's retiring from the NFL because he's burnt out on investing the time into that specific endeavor. He'll invest that time in other career related responsibilities now, not in spending more time with his kids.

Not really new as we all knew that Giselle was pushing for the divorce. But it really seems like Brady wanted to stay together and got burnt out when he failed. Add in the worst coaching in his career, and that was the final nail in the coffin for hopes of another season.
