Just how i see the NFC. I know the Eagles are good, and only lost 1 game with Hurts at QB, but something about them has felt a little fake all year. Their offense is gimmicky at times (any time you need your QB to run to win, or their ability to throw is based off the threat of the run, I don't fully believe a great D won't come along to shut them down). And they haven't been tested.
Yes they beat the fraud Vikings (who were a statistical anomaly as a 13-4 team with a -4 in total points and they beat the Cowboys once without Dak. I just feel like this team hasn't truly been tested all year. They beat the Jags who were only above average, a fraud Vikings team... and who else? I just don't think they are ready for a team like SF or even a healthy Cowboys team, though I think SF takes this game. This Philly team gives me the same feel as that Carolina team that went 15-1 (which is what they may have done if Hurts was healthy... maybe). I just don't fully believe it.
Point is, I believe tonight is the true NFCCG. And I don't think SF will be denied. Their D is just for real, and their weapons can make a mere serviceable game manager look good. This team has been loaded with talent for a while and for the first time is healthy. I don't see them being denied from any of these other NFC teams. And maybe they take it all.
Could be earing my words in a few hours though.
