Tough loss to end the season. Can't give buffalo two special teams touchdowns and expect to win the game, not against this team. I'm proud of the way this team has played down the stretch. This was a fun yet painful season in which we seemed to get critical calls against us by the refs at the most inopportune time.

We have a lot of money in free agency with holes on the O-line and secondary. We have to answer do we resign Jonathan Jones and Jacobi Meyers?

We do have a lot of young talented players on both sides of the ball. A lot to look forward to, but a disappointing way to end the season.

Let's discuss!!!!!!!
After 2 years ago, do you want belichick to have any thing to with signing free agents
This is what I am afraid of. BB can now make a bit of an argument that Patricia took time to get the hang of things but he has come along quite as shown over last few games.
The Pats had 2nd and 20 at the 25 yard line with 4:40 to go and that idiot called a delayed draw play for no gain, there's no evidence that he has learned a friggin thing.

The saddest thing is everyone could of told you in pre season that Achord sucked and Judge should of been put back on special teams and Matt Patricia had no business being an offensive coordinator.

Bill claims to do what's best for the team but that's a bunch of crap as has been proven but his decisions wasting a season, Bill does what's best for Bill.

Am I the only one who saw three bad INTs by Mac??? Is he the new McCourty? Everyone says he is good and he is the anchor around the neck??

Mac has shown that he does not have a clutch bone in his body. Kenny Pickett has more game winning drives in the last two weeks, than Mac has in his career. Mac is not the answer and it is time to move on.

McCourty is clearly cooked and yet his departing gift will be another 12 million in cap space dead money next year too.

Slater is also done.

The ST coach should not even be allowed to board the team plane back to Foxboro. Ditto for Patricia.

Now we will spends months speculating on what impact player they will draft, only to watch BB draft some JAG from Div 3.

I think it’s time to either make BB hire real coordinators ( offense, defense, and ST), fire his sons or work out a trade with the Saints for Payton and fire BB.

Good job good effort. At least this is the last week we have to watch the pats inventing ways to lose.

Hopefully it will be a good off-season with some major changes.

Maybe he does have some football aptitude and actually just needed some time to learn. It's not like I'd want Josh back.
I am sure he does but he should not learn offense as an OC. Insanity to take someone who has had D ingrained in him for decades and make him OC overnight.

Would take anyone 2-3 years to get the hang of it but I don't want my team to be used as a training ground.

At home, no less. Win that game and they’re in the playoffs. Frankly I don’t think any of the 7 seed hopefuls from today deserved to get in. The good thing from all this is the disgrace of missing the playoffs should force their hand to make some important changes.
Whoever got in the playoffs was getting killed by the Bills in the wildcard round imo. We just get a higher draft pick and a head start on fixing things

I wondered why they waited for this well-balanced offensive gameplan, with lots of play action, until the LAST GAME!?!?
It kinda shows that they were just refusing, or holding back all season. Why?

Fix the jerseys. Ever since we switched to these all I see is mediocrity. First two orders of business is to replace most of these assistants and bring back the old jerseys.

Yup. Give Mac a year with a qualified and competent offensive coordinator and QB coach and let’s see what he can do.

How can BOB fix a throwing arm?

He cannot. BOB can disguise and hide Jones weakness with schemes, smoke and mirrors, but eventually the truth comes out.
That's pretty much the problem. Even if Mac's head can be fixed he still has a noodle arm. Today was promising that he can be a game manager on a team with a dynamic defense but he's never taking a team to the next level.

finally they opened it up a bit on offense , got away from the predictable crap....but they collapse on ST. I thought Bill kept guys on this team bc they're good on ST? their ST has to be a worst unit in the league, bottom third
Yep, they were bad all year. Bill spent a ton on DB's this year and yet they ended up injured.

BB isn’t dumb
He signed Cam to run a QB sneak offense
He ignored "cannot create separation" and drafted N'Keal Harry in the 1st round
He hired a D coach to run his offense

"Dumb" is a subjective word
That being said, it is clear BB's decision-making skills lately are severely diminished

First off, thanks to Ian and the Mods. What a band!!!!!!!!

Such a frustrating season. The talent was there to produce much more than we got. This has to be the worst coached team BB has ever produced, including the CLE years. OC, OL, WR, and especially lately ST coaching were just horrible. These must be addressed. Time for BB to clean up the mess he made.

Someone kidnapped Matt Patricia before the game. Should have done that months ago! The team has talent and today they showed heart. But special teams, Allen's insane deep ball and Nelson Agholor were too big a handicap.

Go Pats!
