Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Honestly, if I didn’t know this was Brady, I would assume this was two queers hanging out. I’m a fan of Brady’s but the dude is weird as hell.

Tom going to play for the Saints is like him going to play for the Jets. He would now have 2 fan bases that hate him.

It's fun all this speculation but let me save you guys some time:

1. He retires and goes to Fox @ $25M/yr with Gronk, or
2. He plays for Tampa Bay.
No way he's putting himself through another year with Bowles. He'd rather live in the same house with Gisele and the Jiu-Jitsu instructor in an adjacent bedroom.

Assuming they can arrange the cap the Saints with these guys is by far the division favorites. In what will probably be a weak conference again. With a weak ass schedule. They play the NFC North and AFC South lol. And the two good AFC South teams (Titans and Jags) have to come to the Super Dome. And they’ll be playing either an 3rd or last place divisional schedule so the Cardinals and Washington Commanders in all likelihood. And they’ll face an AFC East opponent which will probably be the Patriots because of shared 2022 division standing lmao.
Brady, Gronk, Payton wants to play together and Saints owns the rights to Payton. I can see them getting together and saying let's do this.

The cap can be easily solved with void years.

At age 46 I don't think he'd want to go somewhere new again. I feel like he's comfortable in Tampa Bay.

Brady is used to 31 fan bases hating him he doesn't give one crap about that. In fact going to the Bucs gained him a lot of national respect that he didn't have prior.

I didn’t know you couldn’t upgrade a defense in the offseason. McDaniels is not stupid and knows that his defense is it’s weak link.

Also their defense was not helped a lot by the offense who was often completely inexistant in 2nd half of game mainly due to Carr sucking. They lost a bunch of one score game. They could’ve easily be 9-6 or 10-5 right now. Adding Brady and Gronk to the Raiders would change a lot of things.
You can, but when you've only got 1 or 2 more seasons left, you'd rather go for more of a proven commodity. Brady knows first-hand how tough the Saints have been on D with Dennis Allen and that group of Cam Jordan, Demario Davis, Lattimore.

He won a Super Bowl for Tampa. They can't hate him. He only played 3 years there anyway. Much different from 20 years in New England, then going to the Jets. And what 2 fan bases are you talking about? Bucs and Pats? Any Patriot fan who "hates" Brady is a massive clown.

No chance his only option for coming back is Tampa unless some major changes are made to coaches.

Bucs fans hate the Saints. You really think they won't care? Come on man. Brady is trying to be an entrepeneur. Do this for what? One more year of dealing w/ new offense, new players, new location at 46-47? Far away from his kids? The entire country will label him like they did Lebron jumping from team to team in search of rings. It's a bad move. Think about it. I get that his fans want him to keep going but let's be realistic.

I got you your plays right here

1st and 10 Fournette run up the middle for minimal gain

2nd and long short screen that goes nowhere

3rd and Long pressure gets to Tom and he throws it to the dirt/bad throw

rinse and repeat

Todd Bowles is in some Speed situation where if he doesn’t call a run on first down he’ll explode.

Checking out some game previews. Majority picking Carolina. Surprising lack of faith in Brady in a spot like this. His entire career Brady has hardly ever come up small in these spots. I just can't believe he's going to let Sam Darnold steals the division from him. Essentially this is a playoff game. Brady's not losing a home playoff game to Darnold.

If they pick Carolina and get it right they are praised for being brave, if they get it wrong there is zero downside because “hey, Brady is still Brady after all.”

I’m not counting Brady out until he’s out.

That includes a Super Bowl run.

The Leftwich /Bowles combo may be too much to let the Brady magic takeover.

This team shouldn't be favored against anybody

Evans needs about 80 yards for another 1000 yard season and that's more important to alot of these bucs fans than anything else. CAR should be favored if Brady starts targeting Evans down the field for anything other than a go route.

New England doesnt hate Brady. only a handful of Massholes do...

Brady's streak of years without a losing season is on the line, but one streak that will not end this year is the streak of years without ever having played a game where he was eliminated before the start of the game.
