Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Raiders beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

You guys never let up do you? Now that clown show play is Macs fault lol

Very few QBs who are going to make an open field tackle on chandler Jones, especially with momentum in his favor
Especially when he as probably as shocked as we were that Meyers chucked it 20 yards back to him.

You forgot, the first drive we scored twice and the sideline called a Timeout on the first one, the second one Jonnu moved which made us get 3 instead of 7.Then there was a punt that was blocked with 30 seconds to go in the half because Peppers and Phillips were looking back at the punter during the snap. Then on 4th and 10 to win the game we play 15 yards off the ball, and stopped pressuring Carr for the next 3-4 plays. And after all that were still in position to win, but
Sloppy and bad coaching.

Mac Jones was probably so stunned he couldn't react.
Whatever. He’s a wimp. Cries too much. He just lost the team. He took much worse hits just after throwing the ball today than merely latching onto a leg of Chandler Jones and pray help is coming to bring him down.

But Corky couldn’t even do that. And he was our last line of defense.

Kraft laying down the law with Bill in getting rid of all those guys will result (I guarantee) in Bill's resignation. Maybe the team needs to move on from him.
Ive considered that, and i think we're seeing the begging of end of the BB era here. This has been going on for four years now, the team is regressing not progressing.

I hate to say it, but it might be time. he says if anything goes wrong, blame him, I blame him for this abortion of a year.

You do realize only a small minority of this fanbase thinks that and literally no other football fan is thinking anything but "wow they really ****ed up if Mac Jones tackling Chandler Jones was their last line of defense in winning the game".

If anybody lost this team from that play, it would be Stevenson and Meyers for basically going rogue and stealing a chance to win from them.

This is what the end looks like.

Its come first circle.

This is as stupid for blaming Gronk on that Kenyan Drake play...

Before last season, I definitely thought this would be the result for a bit. However, what's confounding is the fact that last year looked better, things clicked quite a bit more. And even with that being said, there are some wild mistakes being made this year. It's befuddling.

However, I do think expectations should always be considered. Worthwhile point.
There are things I like, things I don't like, and I think a lot can be remedied. It doesn't mean it will yield a Super Bowl victory.

Can we get 2 tackles, a WR, and 2 linebackers? Yes. That's what we need.

QB is just a mystery.

I do believe we need to move on from Patricia.

That being said, if they can get 5 more players, this team will compete at the highest levels.

It's crazy that one of our best guys on offense, the guy that reads Ds and is constantly open, a guy you count on for big plays, he's the one making the craziest play in Patriots history. Mindboggling.

He's also a guy who can go to another team with a competent offense and catch 90 balls.

People calling a 7-7 record, with 3 games remaining and a playoff berth still on the line, an "abortion" of a season? Good lord we're spoiled.

Take a look at league standings. Nearly everyone is in the 5-9 to 8-6 range. Only a few teams have 9-10+ wins.

An abortion of a season is 3-14. Not 7-7 and a potential playoff berth.

Despite all the issues, they're .500 and a few plays (or calls) away from 8-9+ wins.

That prevent soft zone defense that allowed Vegas to effortlessly drive down the field for the game-tying TD will get more scrutiny tomorrow after the nightmarish final play sinks in more.

At that point myabe but back it off a few frames and what did it look like?
Looked like he was out of bounds by at least a good inch. I didn't even think it was an issue and was going to be called back. Now that I know Walt Anderson had a say I'm not surprised.

This is ultimately my fear. Belichick might have tied his cart to his relatives and friends and it's going to be uncomfortable saying to him that he needs to make changes. And at his age, he might rather retire than make those changes.

I started watching the Pats in the 90's when Bledsoe and McGinest arrived and didn't see crap like this. This is the type of play the old timers were used to prior to Parcells showing up.

That's the exact moment the Raiders WR left foot hit the ground...a few frames earlier it was in the air.

I’m sure zappe would have made the tackle. Lol.

Maybe not you and I apologize lumping you in with them, I'm talking about the guys that pin every loss on Mac, no matter what. BTW Mac was good last year so what has changed this year? Without lumping You in with an apologist that basically drains Mac dry EVERY SINGLE DAY(Might be why he sux), I WANT Mac to be a stud, that BS ALL- Pro was because guys were hurt or said Piss-off, he wasn't All pro level even to my dead grandmother.
Last year He did almost nothing in the last 5 games EXCEPT against the worst team in the nfl.
Ball garglers will say different.... thankfully for them they don't have to actually speak.
