Jeff Howe on Brady to the Patriots next season

The window for Brady to SF has now opened.
His kids lives in Florida and his older son will go to college in western mass next year. In my opinion, there is no chance is going to the other side of the country to play. He wants to be close to his kids.

If he plays, he’ll play for an eastern coast team.

It's still only been 4 seasons since he last won and he has 3 titles in the last ten years.
I agree, with Brady hes the greatest coach ever...the future is without Brady, as was his past. Theres a 160 game sample out there of him running an organization without Brady as the quarterback, he just looks like every other coach now

Ya, Brady to SF for 1 year and a chance at full-circle goals fulfillment makes a lot of sense.
Lance can learn for one more year. Jimmy G will sign somewhere to be a starter.
Brady can be close to his parents/sisters and live out a dream, on a team that seems to have a legit chance at a SB when all are healthy.

If Brady goes to SF offer them Zappe and a 4th for Lance and a 6th. Lol

@MAC10

Please keep the Brady trolling in the Brady forum. Thanks.
Not to pile on here but aren't you telling MAC10 to actively troll in the Brady forum? Which by the way he does incessantly.

If Brady lands in the division then it'll be in Miami (if Tua were to crash and burn by the end of this season). I think there's a better chance of Brady coming back to NE than landing with NYJ.

I have no interest in seeing Rodgers in a Patriots uniform. Next to Russell Wilson, he might the most unlikeable quarterback in the NFL.

If Bill makes a move for Rodgers, then Bill is only interested in Shula's combined wins record. 2023 Rodgers will be good for 6-9 wins on this team. Regardless, Bill will never break Shula's regular season win total. Pretty selfish to keep going just for a personal animosity.

I feel like I'd rather have Zappe than Lance, at least based on what we've seen so far. Although I tend to root for the later picks, which is why I root for guys like Mac (nobody thought much of him coming out) and someone like Zappe (4th round pick)

I wouldn't want Rodgers here either. If they're not going to stick with Mac, go with Zappe and bring in a veteran to back him up and draft another guy to keep Zappe on his toes. And so on...and so on... (fingers crossed we don't get past Zappe in the hunt for a future QB ... )

Ian: what's your thoughts on that Brock Purdy kid 49ers?? He seems a lot like Zappe to me built exactly the same way.

I like him. Again, same story, always fun to see a 7th round pick thrive. Shanahan might not be the best head coach, but he's a smart guy, and he seems to do well with young QBs. Would certainly be ironic - and also funny - if all the picks they gave up went for naught and Purdy turned out to be the one.

I would love Jimmy G back this Offseason even though he's injury prone.

I don't doubt we'd all enjoy him, he's very solid. His issue is and will always be durability. You grab Jimmy, you better have a backup QB plan simultaneously.

Chris Gasper would be happy. He was on Team Trey before and after that draft.

2023 Pats QB's Jimmy Garoppolo - Bailey Zappe and Mac Jones in that order.
