By the numbers: Patricia's offense downright offensive

Things are not perfect for sure, but you have to admit the offense is looking pretty good and likely not the long term catastrophe many people thought it would be. Just like Bill said.

Actually, yes it is the long-term catastrophe many people thought it would be.

You don't have to be sold yet but I think you have to admit he's as qualified for it as most anyone that was available and seems like Bill wasn't so crazy for trusting his own guys rather than dipping into what we all know to be a suspect coaching pool in this league.

Unfortunately, Billy was indeed that crazy.

now you're just being a troll. Don't want to spend time addressing a troll, but just wanted to get the fact you ARE, out there

When you cannot defeat the argument, resort to name-calling... Got it...

These OCs that come and go through the years do add their own wrinkles but... this is Belichick's offense, his system, his way at its core. That's why an outsider established OC was not an option. And I say that as someone who regards Matty P very highly.

Well maybe it should've been an option... And let's all hope that the Krafts strongly consider that option during the offseason... Very strongly...

This “Patricia is going to suck” take was a dumb one from the start… and largely perpetuated by the negative nancy’s and Tompa forum crowd.

Not because he couldn’t have sucked, but the assumption that he automatically would. They’re playing a game with an inflated pig’s bladder, not launching a rocket into space. He was already a Super Bowl winning coordinator.

More name-calling when your argument sucks... This is getting too easy...

He’ll be calling plays again next off season

To me the turning point was game 3 vs Baltimore, a quality opponent on both sides of the ball. Prior to that I wasn't sure about anything the offense was doing, and their ceiling didn't look very high. But in that game Parker went off for 168 yards, Mac was chucking it all over the place, and he also scrambled very well. The offense showed imagination and a high ceiling, and the team as whole showed competitive fire.

Yes, Parker ran the wrong route for an INT, Mac threw it to a LB on another play, and Agholor fumbled at a critical time. But that game showed us that the offense was gonna be fine and that Mac, Patricia & BB had it figured out.

No they didn't.

Next...

There's no maybe about it.

BB's "experiment" has run its course and it has been a complete DISASTER.

Patricia is obviously not qualified to call offensive plays.

We had warning signs all throughout preseason with veteran players like Bourne being unhappy with the "new offense" that Patricia and Joe Judge implemented.

Weeks upon weeks of poor results and the homers insisted that we remain patient and 'it would get better."

It obviously hasn't and it's not going to get better until BIG CHANGES are made.

The Bills game was the measuring stick game and Mac Jones & Matt Patricia were found WANTING!

It is Time to END this incompetence! Remove the offending parties at once!

We haven’t been competitive against the bills with the exception of last year windy game.

1-5 against them so far in the last 6 games. I don’t see it improving with Patricia in there.
Also Macs development hit a wall with Patricia.

Agree. You would expect more from a Toolscribe.

You think a Veneclown could do better, eh? Stick to feminine hygiene products, that's your namesake after all.

By the way, Mac had another pick voided by the refs, you must be apoplectic.
