Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Frustrating to watch
Every 1st down starts out with a failed run or a long deep pass to and Evans who is mailing it in
No management of TOs by the HC at end of half pissing away what could have been a chance at the winning FG
Brate plays over Otton??? WTF???
Bowels (sic) is incompetent as a HC
Offense completely asleep 2nd half while D on a tear yielding many good opportunities for the offense
Offense has couple series in OT and fails to get even into a go for it on fourth situation
Leftwich is brutally incompetent; I have NO IDEA what Brady claims to see in him
Game losing collapse by D reminiscent of playoff exit last season
Brady must have deep regrets having chosen this clown show over family
We KNOW that Brady will not be back in Tampa in 2023 and alternative team scenarios shrinking; he retires
Brady would have preferred to play for a different team, but he was signed to Tampa.

Enough information is out there that it can be concluded that the marriage was already in deep trouble when he retired. The realization that it was done was the door opening for Brady to unretire. So it was no longer about choosing football over family. In retrospect, the marriage was probably doomed when he didn't retire after winning SB7. Giselle gave a big hint for the world to see "haven't you accomplished enough" or something like that.

The dissapearance of the clutch factor reminds me of 2019 except in that year Brady wasn't clutch due to the talent around him. It was a GM created problem.

In 2022, it isn't a talent problem but a coaching problem. Brady's gotta be so frustrated moreso than 2019 as the 2022 problems are fixable,.. give Brady the keys.

I take it you missed the game earlier this year where the Panthers beat the Bucs 21-3... somehow Bowles kept his job.
I haven't forgotten that debacle. If the team can't muster up enough pride to avenge that mess against an inferior team then they're a much sadder sack than I even think they are now.

This Browns player acting like a total idiot, trying to hurdle the RB, is basically what got Wirfs hurt.

Yeah, look out for it. The defense certainly will. They’ve put enough of it on film this year.
If a board stooge like me to know what's coming shows how inept the Bucs offense is.

Alright this is possibly the dumbest thing ever.

And there you have it. This is a losing mentality in which I am 100% certain Brady is not on board with. So anyone wondering why Brady didn't call a time out, don't need to wonder.

The coaches have tuned out Brady and have firmly placed him to the back of the bus. They are telegraphing that they don't want Brady back similar to how they telegraphed last year that they didn't want Suh back.

Question:
Does Brady still take an extra day off each week?

He never did. He’s always been at Wednesday practices, just not always taking the first team reps because he’s 45 freaking years old.

Thanks

Another question:
In the divorce, who got the plane and who got the massage van that Alex customized?

This is an interesting take. The chatter from the Bucs front office seems to be they want and expect Brady to be back next season. They can't possibly believe they're winning anything with Bowles, Leftwich and another quarterback. I doubt Brady wants anything to do with the Bucs next season at this point so they don't need to "force him out" (which independently just sounds like an absurd statement). Where does the Bucs organization get the balls to alienate Brady? He gave them credibility after years of failing miserably.

It's just me putting 2 + 2 together. For example, there's no way running on 1st downs 8, 9, 10 times a game for 2 or 3 yards then the defense teeing off on him every 2nd and long has Brady's blessing.

Along with all the other offensive problems like keeping Goedeke in for 6/7 games, making Brate TE1 again, all the screens, the lack of play action, the lack of hurryup offense, etc , etc,. There is no way this coming from Brady.

Also, the front office consists of different factions, (ie ownership/executives, GM and scouting, coaches) and often aren't on the same page when a team is underperforming.

Wow...just wow. Something has to be going on behind the scenes to explain everything. How is this guy and his staff still standing? They shouldn't have enforced what was essentially a 'for cap purposes' year on Brady's contract if this is what they wanted to do.

I just heard a great way to explain this offense with few words: There is a major philosophical problem with the offense that requires too much for the players to overcome. That's it in a nutshell. It requires perfection to win. Perfect on 1st down from the blocking and running against the box, perfection on the 900 3rd downs that it will produce. Perfection by the defense in the 4th quarter to try and survive it all.

I'm sure the coaches are blaming Brady. Their mouth piece BA already said as much.

This is the same coaches last year who blamed Suh for losing the NFC divisional game to the Rams by saying that if they were younger and faster at interior defensive line, that person would have gotten to Stafford. And not taking the blame for leaving Kupp in single coverage and making a stupid all out blitz call the defense couldn't believe.

They strung out their best defensive player that game. Why wouldn't they string out Brady?

It makes sense ownership/executives would want Brady back cause he makes them relevant and brings in $.

Coaches by their actions and decisions says they don't want him back.

GM/scouts have been silent all season.

With over 1 min left and the Browns with something like 3rd and goal, I was screaming at them to take a time out. The time meant nothing to the Browns and everything to TB. Then they run the ball and don't call a timeout? The only reason I can think of is that their WRs are so bad they wanted to go fast and catch the defense by surprise on the next play but it still makes no sense. All out blitz to kill the season last year on the last play? Why is Brate in there at all? This coach doesn't have the guts for this. He should not be playing over the young kid who has shown to be willing to block and make big plays up the middle. Don't get me started on Evans and how he doesn't finish routes every single game, but most of all his fans. Every ball apparently has to be exact for him or it's not his fault. Everyone in the world also knows what the play calls are in neutral situations as many have pointed out everywhere. The GM wants to be loyal to Bruce and his crew well this team will be one and done. Probably too late anyways. There are many average coaches in this league but it's mighty impressive to see coaching so bad that it costs wins.

Seriously why the **** was Otton benched these fools are incompetent

****ing clown show

high level is Brate is a situational TE receiver while Otton can both block and catch. Can't sell the PA with Brate as much

terrible offensive schematics e.g. trying to stop Myles Garrett one on one. Probably where they could have used Fournette. also, the Bucs played the entire 4th quarter not to lose, which is what cost them the game in addition to the terrible calls for run on first down which avg 1yd and put them in 2nd and long like 9/10 times.

i loved watching Brady play because it was a master chess class in the sense..now its a ****ing clown show

delete. Didn't see it was already posted above.
