Far too many mental errors by NE....some might say it was Jete-like

Two-minute drill butchery by Henry and Mac
Mac staring down targets like a complete neophyte
Face mask penalties
Running into the punter
Kickoff coverage breakdown including our kicker just stepping aside as the returner entered his space
etc
etc
etc
The cumulation of mental errors propelled the Vikings to victory

A far cry from the good ole Patriot Way.....an era with aware/disciplined players and detail-oriented coaches

At least NE was able to take away Minny's biggest weapon.... limiting him to only 9 catches

Happy Lets Dance GIF by Rodney Dangerfield
I think those 9 catches were for 139 and a TD but I did detect the sarcasm hehe

In the 2020 draft, Jefferson was taken by Minnesota with the 20th pick in the first round. The Patriots traded out of the 21st pick, netting Dugger and Uche.
Eagles took Jalen Reagor who was a complete bust with the 21st pick. Jefferson was taken with the 22nd. Ironically Reagor is now with the Vikes.

No catch.

The ball can hit the ground but you must maintain possession. Possession means the ball does not move.

That’s for Week 12. During odd numbered weeks that’s a catch - on Sunday. But maybe not on Thursday.

accuracy
velocity
the throws under pressure
the incompletions to meyers & agholor

Mac was awesome on re-watch. He was making plays outside the pocket & was elevating the play around him. stevenson had a drop, bourne couldn’t get a PI call, henry’s td was overturned & meyers & agholor couldn’t make a play on some insane throws. Re-watch the meyers incompletion in the fourth quarter.

He wasn’t perfect since he still needs to learn to throw the ball away. I’m excited for the remainder of the season after yesterday though.

You probably checked the stats and didn’t like the picture it painted

It’s ok. You’re allowed to be wrong

Here are your "Mac Jones played like ass in the fourth quarter" fourth-quarter stats: 12 passes attempted, 8 completions, 104 yards.

Source: The Official Site of the Minnesota Vikings

So just cut the crap. You claim Mac "played like ass in the fourth quarter," can offer nothing to back it up, and now YOU have been proven WRONG. What's funny is if Nelson Agholor hadn't paused mid-route and caught that PERFECTLY PLACED fourth-down pass -- which he should have -- playing "like ass" becomes playing like Tom Brady.

Let’s give credit to the Vikings offense. They are good and adaptive. They took full advantage of our defense. Its weaknesses, such as pass coverage by our bigger, run-stopping linebackers.

And the punter may have a career in acting. He’s Dustin Hoffmann. He put on a clinic on how to sell the slight contact into a major penalty.

Kyle Duggar should be taking notes. He was blatantly held on the kickoff return for a TD and acted as if all was well.

I am disappointed in him and in the Invisible Man, Jonuu Smith.
Yes !Dugg as great as he's been this season coverage is not his strengths, he's a box safety, peppers or Wilson should have been on hockenson, actually we've never been able to really stick a TE going back to the '03, 04 years,

HH got robbed as we know, clearly a hold on Dugg, Vikings offense is so dynamic, player makers at every skill position,

Mac looked excellent to me, set his feet made throws all over the field, Parker re-emerged.

So I imagine BB is going to have to play with more safeties against that line backer playing QB in Allen he's a problem! You rush him he burns you for 15 yards, you back off him Mckenzie is wide open, NO ONE can stick Diggs he's like Edelman as a route runner..

Janu smith is just a mystery to me, when we got him he was supposed to be a match up nightmare to defenses.. such a fast, strong guy he always gets tackled, harris great back but always hurt,

Hard to get down on the D we wouldn't be where we are without them! With this loss and the AFC picture I believe it's Miami and Buffalo out the AFC East to make the playoffs.

Interesting. But like one poster said earlier, it's not like the Pats can identify WR in the draft anyway.
We have Thornton but he hasn't really done anything since the Browns game!

Henry caught the ball. Every play similar that I can remember with a hand under the ball, it's a catch. Play was called a catch on the field and should have not been overruled.
Also, punters now know the secret, punt the ball and keep leg extended for as long as possible, if someone brushes your foot, flop.

I don't care. Woulda shoulda coulda. Welcome to the draft.

Mac looked good pushing the ball downfield. This is what I wanted to see in September.

Would love to see what he could do with a true WR1 but I don't think there's a Diggs or Hill up for trade or a disgruntled Randy Moss out there. Gotta develop one or trade up in the draft and I think we have too many other needs right now.

You’re right. My bad. They took Jefferson with the 21st pick and the Pats traded out at 22.

No one is saying the Draft isn’t a crapshoot.

The replay is clear as day.

He caught the ball.
Foot & knee down
Makes a football move
Left hand underneath ball meaning the ball did not hit the ground

Terrible call. The NFL has no idea what to do.

Next week will tell us if we're playing football in January IMO. I chalked last night's game as a L before the season. Next week's game I penciled in a W. Hopefully that happens.

7-5 (with 6-2 in the AFC and 3-1 in the division) would put us in decent shape for a wild card spot.

Agree.

They theoretically could win out and by finishing 11-6 would get them in but that isn't realistic.

It's pretty much a must-win game.

Terrible call. The NFL has no idea what to do.

Even before that shot while still on his feet he held the ball well over the goal line.

Mac Jones has shown many times that just because he pouts on the sidelines doesn't mean he becomes overwhelmed by the moment. We have seen cases where he make a really bad pick and come back and score a TD on the next drive.

Let's face it. You don't like the guy. You have been pretty vocal about it. I can go back through your posts and this is just a latest line of complaints about Jones you have from a weak arm to a complete lack of pocket presence. Based on your posts, I gotta think you wonder how Jones is even in the NFL never mind starting for an NFL team. I am not throwing shade, but just making an observation that based on your posts I get that you don't believe Jones is good at anything.
You act like criticizing the 29th ranked QB in the league is somehow unfounded. Mac had a really nice breakout game last night. I'm hoping he can build on that.

His pocket presence up until last night was woeful. He def put some things together, moved well in the pocket and made decisive throws. In the end some of his team mates let him down and he made a few mistakes. But overall I though this was the best game of his career so far.

Still having red zone issues, even though that catch by HH was stolen by the refs. Even if that had stood 1 out of 3 isn't good enough.
