Brady's involvement with Crypto is beyond sketchy

Sounds like whoever penned that theory is a massive idiot.

Go on some of those crypto message boards. That is one of the more sane conspiracy theories. I have a friend into crypto and he told me about this conspiracy a while back. He is sane, but does look at the more insane crypto boards.

But looking further, Brady seems to be part of the blame for the conspiracy. Someone joked to him about it in Twitter and he jokingly took the blame and some of the crypto world ran with it. And there were several tongue in cheek articles about it that people took seriously like this one:

But other articles took it seriously like this one with misleading headlines here:

Interesting after the daily wire talked about the Brady conspiracy that he crashed bitcoin they went on to pivot with "on a serious note" that China stopped accepting it along with Telsa not accepting it as payment. So obviously they aren't blaming Brady's laser eyes thing

I never said they did. I said the article was serious with a misleading headline. I didn't mean to say that they bought into the conspiracy or started it. I am saying it is these articles (and others like them) are likely the source for the crypto nutjobs to start this conspiracy.

I was agreeing with you

You mean like the banking scandals in the 90s or the recent US Bank and Wells Fargo banking scandals? These are all brick and mortar US banks, but let's pretend an online exchange for cryptocurrencies is unique. The biggest losers are the large venture capitalists that invested in FTX. Hopefully, the retail users that just used FTX for their transactions (but didn't actually invest in FTX because why would they) can get their cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin) back.

BTW, in reading about this, it was caused by FTX's largest competitor (Binance's Zhao) when he sent out a tweet. Smart man Mr. Zhao.
How can they get their money back?

The banking scandals had average people lose their money?

FTX moved money out when they realized they were going under. As I wrote back in June, FTX allowed Celsius to move assets over to FTX when Celsius was going under. This is dirty as hell.

It's an investment - you don't get your money back even if there is fraud involved. Did Bernie Madoff's investors get anything back?

The thing I remember most about the banking scandal was that the media called it a scandal at first but quickly changed it to a crisis. Money talks.

The problem with getting your money back from a failed investment is that there is generally no money left to get back. Defrauded investors certainly have a strong case in court but you can't draw blood from a stone. If there's nothing left, there's nothing left.

But regular investors didn't lose their money. Lehman didn't move any money out to hide it. They went completely under. No money was moved offshore or anywhere else.

That's the whole reason the credit swaps were in the money. BECAUSE it went kablooey.

Why don't people find another site to talk about Tom Kardashian? This is a Patriots forum

You can click "ignore thread" anytime you want.
Why should I have to? Tommy Kardashian shouldn't be on this site. He is on the Bucs site, go there.

Was this funded by the taxpayers? Seems unfair
According to the article the funds were recovered from companies the were part of the scheme, from the estate of a big Madoff investor and from chase Bank because they helped facilitate it. Seems fair to me

The forum is here to stay until Brady retires according to Ian. Is anyone forcing you here?

Well, a large number of people disagree with you because clearly he is still a valid topic of conversation on this forum.

But you do look kinda silly whining about a thread when you can just click "ignore" anytime you want. Heck, it is a whole subforum that you have to go out of your way to get into..... I mean, have the self restraint to stop coming in here if it offends you so much.

Ian is the boss but since I

Thanks. As paid supporters of this site, we can have an opinion. I have disagreed with Ian's position on this, I could support Ian the year Tommy Kardashian left the Patriots but now 3 years later, no way.

Is the forum dead when Kardashian/Brady retires as you suggested? You are spreading misinformation.

I more than take a ride, I pay to be a Supporter therefore you don't have a right to tell me whether I can be here or not.
