Mac will lead us to victory.

Our QB.

Man, does Mac miss White and Bolden.

Thanks for the info. Do you know what the Jets did this week? I tried to google "how many times did the Jets practice this week" and got nothing but preseason articles. Maybe I should ask Alexa :)
I assume either once or none

Has nothing to do with them. Or did you miss Stevenson running wide open down the side and Jones just vastly overthrowing him last Sunday?

I'm not sure what you're saying, So, the constant connecting with White and Bolden last year was a fluke and he'd be missing them this year?

Is anyone else mildly pissed at the fact the Pats will be practicing ONLY once this week. I KNOW its a long long season now, but I would have thought that given our offensive woes, we could have used 3 practices (one in pads) to work on improving that aspect of the game. Three SHORT practices (about an hour, not counting warmups) with the focus on the offense. While the defense work on individual techniques while providing good reps for the offense.

My complaint is tangental to the fact that as a whole teams practice less now, and when they do, it's mostly without pads or hitting. Back in the day, you had 2 a days WITH pad every day until the Preseason games started. You generally pad at LEAST 2 padded practices a week. And this wasn't 50 years ago, this was what the Pats were doing as late as 2010. The fact is that teams don;'t practice as much and thus they don't execute as well. It's THAT simple.

Now I DO understand that teams want to protect their very expensive investments, and the season is now 17 games. That's 5 full games more than when I played, and THAT can tale a toll on the body. BUT....

BTW - Anyone know how many times the Jets are practicing this week?
Ken, pardon my ignorance . Did you play in the NFL? I believe you do coach, but was not aware you played in the league.

Anyone else having weird formatting issues with the site today? Sorry for posting about it here... I would start a thread, PM someone, or put it in the technical forum, but the issues are making it hard for me to find any of those things...

So this post stays on topic, I hope the Patriots can keep the Jets from scoring points while the Patriots, in turn, score many points.

Or Ferentz in the game and the whole OL sucking. You know it is bad when the positive comments are "he knows the plays". He sucks at pass and run blocking, but he knows the plays. WTF.
Yep. One can know the plays but be ****ty at recognizing where the rushers are, their tendencies, calling protections, knowing when to peel off a rusher and when to help, etc.

IMO Andrews is elite at that stuff, quick and technically sound and whereas Ferentz isn't.

Huh? Where did you get that quote from me?

First off it's not in the link you're quoting. Weird.

Three 1st rounders and Jack Jones. Nice.
We all know that Jack Jones was a 4th round pick. #121. Great pick.

Did you know that Tariq Woolen was a 5th round pick? #153 Oh and he's 6'4 with a 4.26 40 which is freakishly athletic. :feet:

Incidentally he's slated to face my WR binkie from the 2022 draft, Chris Olave who leads all rookie WRs with 618 receiving yards, and good for 9th overall in the NFL. Unironically he's also the only uninjured player I named in the who's your guy thread leading up to the draft.
