Seems to be a fair amount of smoke around this. That would be the heist of the century if they were able to pull that off.

This is not real. It was picked up an hour after it was originally posted here:

This guy posted such items as the Chiefs-Bucs game being moved to Foxboro due to Hurricane Ian. And his twitter “credentials” have a Boston Globe background and state: “Esteemed sports journalist & Patriots Beat Writer Double PHD in Journalism & Female Anatomy”

Wish it was true.

I guess we know why he picked Nakobe Dean who worships Belichick so much, he may already be a Patsfan member

As has been discussed in other threads, it doesn't make sense to trade or cut Wynn at this time given our lack of depth at the Tackle position. I think for that to happen, we'd have to bring someone in to replace Wynn. We don't even have an OT on our practice squad at this moment. The only other tackle we have is Cajuste who is injured.

I also don't think it's a good idea to move Onwenu back to RT. He's been playing lights out at guard, let's leave him there where he is excelling.

I still see this season to be about next seasons. So using the opportunity for moving on from disgruntled player (although my binikie) who's struggling with new position that doesn't suit his skillset or his desires for a healthy portion of cap is a good idea despite depth issues.

The re-emergence of Cannon - one of the most important roster developments this season - makes this possible.
With Onwenu plan B option - and an upgrade at that - there's really not much to think about esp. if you can unload most of remaining contract.

RG should not be a problem if needed. Hines showed glimpses of early Onwenu and there are decent vets out there to plug'n'play.

When healthy (and motivated) Wynn is still above average NFL LT so teams around the league should def be interested.

Saw a couple people mention this earlier, clearly not a good sign:

Trade his Lazy, Overpaid ass while we can get something for him. He clearly doesn't want to be here, and he's one of our worst OL week in and week out. Most penalties on offense? More than half of those flags come from Wynn. It's gonna be addition by subtraction. Trade deadline is November 1st.

We will be lucky to get a conditional 6th for him.

People are forgetting that the Patriots opted to pick up his 2022 fifth-year option and retain him for $10.4 million. So the idea that he was a complete bust is simply wrong. As I said before, switching to RT has undone him - not everyone can easily make that switch.

If there is a team out there that needs a LT, there is a trade to be made.

2018 draft what a waste. 5 pro bowl offensive players fall to us at 24 and we select an injury prone stub armed guard
After the Browns took Chubb talent took a dive in that draft.

He's a whiny waste of space. I used to do tree work, which can be pretty dangerous. He's the sort of guy NO ONE would want on their crew.
