I think we won't see Jones until after the BYE week.
If that’s the case I don’t think he gets his job back if Zappe keeps playing well and the team keeps winning. But I think he starts Monday night vs Chicago.

Possibly but if Zappe wins every game till the bye...I don't think we will see Jones after the bye...IMO.

That may be.. I'm trying to just take it a little at a time.

I think you're confusing the 80s with the 2000s... My god most of the music in the last 20 years will end up rotting away
Nah ... just a case of history repeating itself.

If Mac is only 85% the extra week will do wonders for him. Let that ankle heal even more.

Zappe should start as the Bears suck. I just hope they don't overlook them--this team can't afford to overlook anyone.

Tough news on the injury front:

One of those guys that people try really hard to exclude from their Patspicker roster during camp, but always ends up making it and playing a ton of ST. Might start to see Bledsoe active during more games to play some (but not all) of Davis' roles.

Moving up the chart.

Moving up the chart.

I'm not sure about Philly yet, haven't seen much of them, but I think there is a clear separation after Buffalo and KC. Looks to me like there are a lot of mediocre/average football teams this year and quite a few really bad teams.

They only have a couple "tough" games left. Cowboys, Giants. You can throw the Packers in there maybe. Game is in Philly. They will only need to win twice in January at home to make it to Phoenix. Might be looking at the SB being the toughest playoff game for them. Can you imagine Philly fans and Bills Mafia in the same city for a long weekend....?

I'm not even sure I'd put KC up there. They're 26th in scoring defense (though they are #1 in scoring offense).

KC is not who they were but the rest of the league really does not look very good right now, so just being decent + having Mahomes is good enough to be #2 IMO.

Moving up the chart.

Just gotta keep trying to stack wins... See what works and what doesn't, be better than at least 9 other AFC teams at the end of the season and hopefully have your identity sorted out by then and try to win a few more.

This will be the team's 3rd consecutive blowout victory. I really love where this team is at right now. Defense is dominant, the receivers are constantly getting open, the OL is excellent, and the coaching at all levels has been superb. The best part? They've been winning with absolute garbage at QB. Very reminiscent of 2016. When we get our starter back, it's over for the rest of the league.

Speaking of our starter, we've had a little bit of a QB controversy on our hands for a while with respect to a certain other QB who some people believe is a more talented player than he is, so there's a lot motivation for him this week to prove all the doubters wrong. A QB who some have been fantasizing about being the future of our franchise. That QB is Justin Fields - who was unjustly drafted before Mac. Mac is going to once again show why he is the face of this league.

MJ back against Chicago. That just feels right.
Zappe might not be Mahomes but he's hardly garbage.
