People with this opinion should have to get a high ankle sprain just to make sure it's as painless as they think.

You’re missing the point. If he’s miraculously better right now it means he never had a high ankle sprain. Which is why I don’t believe it.

People with a real high ankle sprain wouldn't even be at the Team facilities game planning to potentially play four days after that injury. Seems like there's a little drama here emphasis on little.

Being at the stadium “game planning” could mean he’s sitting in a room wearing a boot with his leg elevated talking to Hoyer.

Totally. Loosing the confidence of his players would be baad.
Yeah, I know there are alot of leaders there still.. however I feel like privately.. players especially on offense are questioning.. in this day and era in the NFL kind of strange no having named coordinators.. however judge and Patricia are only back here because is economical for the team..

Agreed but it does grate. I really can't see the point of being so evasive. All it does is mean he will be asked more questions and i really don't think it gives any advantage to the Pats against GB in terms of them prepping for 2 qbs.
Because he doesn't want a prognosis by him in response to a question to be used against him later if things turn out differently. That's what the media does, he's onto it, and gives them nothing on an injury except the status as required by the league. Not to mention that the less the opposing defenses know about a player's injury, the better.

Mac is a tough kid and it seems he has the support of the locker room. I think he would quickly lose that support if he wasn't tough.

We already saw what happens when the Patriots locker room has a different opinion of a QB. They're not long for the team. Ask JG.

This makes his screaming and crying even more embarrassing
I scream like that when I stub a toe maybe you're a tough guy or maybe you're just an internet tough guy but it seemed like a large man awkwardly dragged him down and landed on him. Looked pretty painful to me regardless of how much damage it caused.

Also...if it turns out he only had a minor bruise or something how does this look in retrospect?

Hard to judge . An injury that turns out to be minor can still be extremely painful. Quick example barmore’s injury last year in week 18. The way he was screaming reporters initially were convinced his season was done. He ended up playing the following week, just not very effectively. But its not always as major as it seems initially.

If Mac pulls a Roethlisberger here, we're going to have to start calling him Big Mac.

I have had severe sprains, to where my foot turned black, and I was not carried screaming like that. Either he has zero pain tolerance or the team is lying about him playing.

He has not practiced all week, if you have been a pats fan more than a week you know that means he isnt playing and them saying different is BS that they do because somehow they think GB are idiots.

This. I mean the notion of tough...I think we all saw his pain tolerance. Either his ankle is fine and that all theatrics is silly or its BS as usual

I agree. If it is a true high ankle sprain he can barely walk right now let alone play in a football game.
Put a boot on it and play!
Folks forget Drew Bledsoe, a.k.a. The Statue. Mikey can stand there immobile & just sling it! No?

If he has zero pain tolerance he'll be shown the door. I'm sure the team is just playing games with his status.
