According to who? Hunt/Chubb is better. But I'd also take Derrick Henry/whoever, Jonathan Taylor/whoever, and Kamara/Ingram, than Aaron Jones + AJ Dillon.
You can't say Henry and whoever... that's not a duo. So that wipes out half your list. Ingram hasn't done anything since 2019. Chubb and Hunt are good competition for Jones and Dillon. I'll take either duo. There isn't a close third in my opinion... although Harris and Stevenson would be near the top of my second tier.
He didn’t deserve either mvp so I don’t care about that but with those WRs vs Tampa’s corner they won’t be moving the ball much. Add in GB line hasn’t looked that great then Tampa will be getting pressure while facing below average WR group. Meanwhile GB can’t stop the run I expect Tampa to run all over them hopefully Julio can play and Gage gets his head out his ass
Agreed about Rodgers not deserving the MVP either season however he was the second or third best player in the league both seasons, which is pretty good.
I would love to agree with everything else you're saying there and I hope you're right. However, I'm skeptical about Julio's availability and Gage looks like Phillip Dorsett type production... meaning he can't fill a WR1 or WR2 role. The Bucs are possibly trotting out Gage, Perriman and Miller this weekend... you have to go back to 2013 to find a worse group for Brady. They don't have a legitimate starting TE either. I'm starting to believe Licht didn't do a very good job getting this offense ready for the start of the season. A loss is definitely on the table for this game... you still have to score to win. You can't tell me Rodgers can't get to 20, which could be enough.
Anyway the Evans suspension is an interesting conundrum for the Bucs. He’s not getting it removed. BUT it might be possible to get it delayed a week as the process works out. But isn’t that worse? The Packers game is objectively more important in terms of seeding. But I think the Bucs can win without him. The Chiefs game meanwhile isn’t important at all in terms of seeding but I think they need Evans to beat them. Real pick your poison situation here.
This is a no-brainer... you definitely want Evans available for this weekend over next. Conference matchup vs not. A loss to KC only wipes out the possibility of 17-0. Assuming you can beat GB with Evans then you're 3-0 in the conference and looking like an early favorite for the top seed in the NFC. It's a moot point anyway since the appeal will be addressed this week... Evans is not playing this weekend.
Regarding the fracas that led to the suspension, I'm not buying this notion that it galvanized the team. Brady did his usual thing in the 4th quarter and Winston did what he's being doing the majority of his career. Neither has anything to do with Evans. I don't know what Evans was seeing on the field either but it didn't warrant his going ballistic on Lattimore. It was just all round stupidity, firstly gets thrown out a game in which your offense has 3 points, and now you're suspended for the most important matchup of the season when you're the only healthy starting receiver left on the team. It's really putting the team in a bad spot for this game. That said, the suspension is overkill. We're going to see this kind of action throughout the course of the season... is the league going to start suspending players left and right for losing their cool? I doubt it.
Also, Beasley isn't going to help much... especially not this weekend when he probably won't be active anyway. This move reminds me of the Patriots bringing in a washed up Austin Collie in 2013. That's two references to that putrid 2013 Patriots receiving corps.
