Huh? Jones has already been on an island vs Hill and locked him down. Matter of fact, he's probably covered him better than anybody in the league last 2 times they played. You're thinking of previous games before the last 2 when he did have safety help. He doesn't need any help.
I'll add the caveat though that I don't know if he's totally the same guy after the injury. He didn't play much preseason but looked good when he did.I guess we'll find out soon.
No, I’m not thinking of that, and we haven’t primarily done that.

I’m aware of the switch between the early game plans vs Hill where we used to essentially double/bracket him vs how we’ve defended him the last times we’ve played him.

In recent matchups, it’s primarily been cover 1-based schemes where the high safety is still available to help on Hill on deep routes and on crossers (and on crossers, we’ve used that cover 1 cross where the safety jumps the crosser and replaces the trailing man corner, while that corner falls back into deep middle).

My point is that if we then straight up doubled/bracketed the TE, we’re leaving Jones on a complete island- no safety to help on the tyreek crosser or deep route. Unless we dedicate one safety to the TE and one to being the single high deep middle, which I was saying might not be preferred as they may want a robber, a 5th rusher, or a spy

I see the NE pass defense in its infant stages so Miami might not need to run so much.
As long as they can stop slants now, I think they will be ok

It seems like Miami wants to throw deep this season.

Some of the video that I watched had Tua rolling away from pressure to buy time on the reception.

Lets just use until November as an extended pre-season and then Mac Jones can just take us to the Super Bowl as usual. Easy peasy.

No delusions here at all.

It got deleted? lol

This forum is terrible lol

Hahaha I just noticed.

I guess this place has become a safe space to a degree
Yeah, I tried to click to read the rest of the post, and poof… vanished like a fart in the wind.

At least you guys have the Massachusetts “EXCUSE ME! EXCUSE ME! WHERE IS YOUR MASK?!” Karen-and-her-wimpy-husband energy down so everyone gets the full New England boomermania experience.
This one is probably going bye bye, too. How dare you.

Last time I was a regular poster I was getting attacked by the mods like scmessy (so) for arguing with them about how Tom Brady isn’t a tradable asset, even for Belichick, and that Jimmy G sucks. Back then that was all deletable content. lol

I would take Jimmy right now and Ive never been fan of his Nancy Boy routine.

Of course you do. You’re a terrible fan base. Vile, wretched, unappreciative, ignorant, etc.
Huge swathes of you were actively rooting for epic failure on his part the moment Billy ran him out the door. Go be miserable. I’m glad it’s about to get cold AF up there.
Whens Hurricane season start?

Florida drivers should be in prison.

Awesome. I see what Jets fans see now. Just loud, overweight, obnoxious, etc.
You’re literally terrible lol.
Plenty of NY and Mass people in FLA.

Axxhole paradise.

This injury report is going to be very interesting when it comes out later today. Our O-line could be affected depending on Wynn's status: bears monitoring:

Okay, bro. Go put your mask on and be a neutered, pathetic example of a man for your disgusting, annoying wife. I’ll be down here at the beach with Captain American shoulders and a perfect jawline.
Sounds like Tommy and Gissele.

Bet you look hit in a speedo
