Edit: Just kidding, Leroy Watson signed with the 49ers’ practice squad, so he clearly won’t be needing that locker anymore.

Sounds like it’s not the only move, since that tackle from the Falcons has a locker. I assume we’ll hear about any other potential moves before they fly out tomorrow.
Good size. Not that old. Was a 1st rounder.
This doesn’t make any sense to me.One would think that Nixon, Humphrey AND Bowden would be enough, especially while we lack quality depth at other positions...
Absolutely. And FWIW Malcom Brown is still a FA.One would think that Nixon, Humphrey AND Bowden would be enough, especially while we lack quality depth at other positions...

Isn't Treadwell more of a stretch the field type receiver?
Yep and the last spot on the practice squad at that, if it makes folks feel better his total yards last year in only 12 games was just 164 yards shy of Harry's total yards for his career. Some people to relax... Its the practice squad, not the 53...

De’Runnya Wilson from Mississippi State. He was fairly productive catching passes from Dak Prescott, and they were even ranked #1 in the polls for five weeks in 2014. Then he ran 4.85 at 6’5”, 215.Going on the premise that there are no stupid questions, only stupid people….
Several years ago, there was an Undrafted wr from ole miss or a school like that that originally had fairly high draft grades but didn’t hear his name called because of lack of speed. I thought his name was similar to Treadwell, who I know was a first rounder. He then announced that he’d signed as an udfa with the pats, but it turned out only to have been an offer for a tryout.
I was excited he’d signed, but he ended up going elsewhere after the mid-announcement and, as far as I know, never amounted to much.
Just curious what that guys name was. Sorry for the randomness.
This is a case where Dante going all Mr Miyagi would pay big dividends. No one on staff to fill that role now.Every single draft report I saw was consistent with this one:
Perhaps with coaching he'll improve a lot. We can hope.
- Not explosive in any aspect. Lacks the quickness to redirect and handle cut blocks. Unable to complete most combo blocks. Gets an initial shove at the line but doesn't move the second target. Poor body control and lacks accuracy blocking on the move.
- Lacks lateral agility, flexibility and footwork to start on the outside in the NFL.
- Not a natural knee-bender and gets too upright. Needs to play with better leverage and stay balanced through contact.
- Very raw technique, playing with inconsistent hand placement fails to sustain blocks.
- Struggles to get low enough to maintain leverage. Won't be able to cut more agile NFL linemen because he's not sudden and gathers before lunging.
