Pats trained in Colo Springs prior to that Mexico City game. Higher altitude down there than Denver.

Hope the 4 extra days down in Florida helps. I would love to see this team finally beat Tua.

Never once looked at the Dolphins game as beating Tua. Back when it was the Colts-Pats rivalry you might talk, inaccurately of course, about beating Manning, but at least it would make sense. I'm always seeing guys post about Tua as if he's this force to be reckoned with, and he's just not. Miami never wins anything and he personally is not some kind of force of nature.

I guess I'd be more likely to say it would be nice to stop losing to Miami.

Vidi, veni, Miami Vice.

See what I did there?

Also, Buffalo delenda est.

Or Wynn might not like public speaking, lots of people don't like it, and he is forced to do it. So he looks and sounds unhappy, which he is, but not with the Pats or his $10M salary or his future prospects, but simply unhappy about being forced to stand in front of people. Players are all different. Marshawn Lynch didn't like going to the podium either. It happens. Maybe there is nothing to see here.

In which case all his other PC appearances would have been the same. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

Lol, He thinks he's throwing Bill off guard. Watch them throw 50 times. McDaniel playing checkers in a chess league......JK. who knows, maybe they will run it.
Maybe ?

Week 18 last year vs NE
MIA....45 rushes 195 yds

With Tyreek Hill to worry about now , it will be quite a challenge for NE's back 7, particularly their safeties, to bracket both Waddle and Hill while minimizing MIA's rush.

Could be. No way to know. Had a tough practice so he is frustrated. It happens. It doesn't make a player disgruntled. All kinds of wild speculation on PatsFans. Maybe something happened at home in his personal life. Who knows. All we know is that PatsFans thinks he is disgruntled because he is not smiley like Bourne.

Slow LB last year didn't help. Hopefully the higher east to west speed makes up the difference

we're on to scumbag miami. what a slimey grimey franchise tampering with players in their own division and esp the goat and on top of that trying to lose games for better draft position. thankfully someone with integrity from the pats was down there to prevent it. where is roger and the integrity of the game ? shockingly he covered up the throwing of games. nfl hq is a joke. how much different would the national press (espn) be covering this if it were the pats?

Nah, it isn't that he's a force to be reckoned with, it's the exact opposite. He's a JAG and yet they have yet to beat him. That's what it's about.

okay that clarifies that. Man it will be nice to see a real-axx game.

The only real question about this game is … how many rushing yards over 150 will Miami have…. By halftime?

I see the NE pass defense in its infant stages so Miami might not need to run so much.

Some special team notes:

Obviously the new gunner will be Schooler. I think the primary PR will be M. Jones and I thought KR would be Ty M. but with his injury it may be P. Strong.

My money is on Bryant for PR. I don't think they're going to put the rookie out there right away.

KR is such a nothing these days anyway - statistics say an almost 70% decline in kicks returned since the rule changes.

They have put rookies at PR in the past although Cyrus failed miserably. I'm sure their were others. IMO Bryant won't be on the active 46 most games but I think Jones will be. We shall see.

If we can consistent pas rush pressure, I feel pretty good about the pass defense, sans Duggar.

But I do not know how we stop outside runs or keep godchaux from playing on skates.
