"I probably shouldn't say this, but it didn't bother me that he got into a fight before his bowl game. He's got to control himself better, but he's an edgy dude, which is why I like him." -- Southeastern scout for NFC team

Bowden claims to have run a 4.4-to 4.5-second 40-yard dash time, which would put him somewhere around Chase Claypool
(4.42, T13), Jerry Jeudy
(4.45, T18), and CeeDee Lamb
(4.5, NR).

"Bowden’s athleticism is another factor that draws me to him. Unfortunately, we don’t have that much hard data to work with, as a hamstring strain caused Bowden to skip the 40-yard dash, three-cone drill, and shuttles at the NFL Combine. He had planned to compensate with a strong Pro Day, but the coronavirus led to its cancellation."

I think the slot looks like the best fit and also would bring some YAC we don’t currently have. Or he could be released next week….
Please no... He is my new binkie .. I want him to be on the 53 for either Thornton or Montgomery. He seems fast and elusive ... Looks like offspring of Edelman and patterson

"Russey was also a state champion powerlifter for Burleson. In 2016, Russey won a state title in the 275-pound weight class with a total lift of 1,925 pounds. He squatted 720 pounds, bench pressed 465 pounds and deadlifted 740 pounds. Russey's 740-pound deadlift set a new state record while his total lift was 10 pounds shy of the state record."

His strength is his strength. His footwork and quickness have been his weakness.

The Dolphins cut Bowden. We're playing them this week.

We often add a player from the opposition the week before we play them.

Why are people thinking it's any more than that?

This is pretty cool (The tidbit, the site is blocked in the EU and Im too lazy to turn on the vpn)

I think it's pretty clear BB primes for cerebral guys at that position, as they need to be well-aware of the front 7 they are facing in our team, so the bigger point is: Can he read the games as well as Andrews?

I say this bc I don't think our Starting C is out there bc of his quickness , as BTTA said and Footwork is way more coachable than physical attributes (And Russey seems to be a clear better athlete, again, I didnt read the article).

I hope he develops well, we need David this year, with all the incosistency around him. Once it all settles, I'll be back saying we need a upgrade there

That has to be the last reason in the NFL World why he's here. That's like me moving to Miami tomorrow and letting everyone know what a bunch of ****y, entitled twats we Patsfans are, like anyone in the country doesn't already know that. He's got no Dolphin playbook and no gameplan vs Patriots Week 1 information. What's he going to say about Tua that you don't already know? "He looks cute in white cut-off jean shorts?" Thanks for letting me vent some NE obnoxiousness.

Because this is a player with NFL talent who Patriots were said to show interest in before he was drafted. Also played well against us which BB has noted with other signings. If it were merely scouting, he’ll be released next week. We’ll see.

Beyond strength his speed and agility were top shelf for offensive linemen. I’m glad he made it through waivers.

Chasen Hinds is big but I saw nothing from him this preseason and he’s a blah athlete.

I get it. We'll see.

The Dolphins picked up Bethel.

I bet Dolphin fans are hoping he will be a great addition as well.

EDIT - BTW at the time I thought Danny Woodhead was merely a scouting acquistion.

lol, very true Nick. Hopefully, he can stay healthy. Do you think he has a chance to fill the "James White role" with Ty being out, or would you go with JJ?

Not addressed to me, but I would stay with JJ for now at least until the Faidahs & LOLphins stank has been washed outta Lynn Bowden, then re-evaluate from there...
