Brady has pretty much surpassed everyone's expectation. He should have been MVP at age 44 for goodness sake.

But each year increases the chance he'll lose his arm strength which I'd rather not see. If he still has it at the end of the season, I hope he plays in his age 46 year then retire. But imo I think this will be his final season especially if they win the SB.

IMO the Dolphins picks loss and suspension of Ross has more to do with his tanking allegations than with tampering.

The league could never outright penalize them for tanking because it would mean that the NFL admits games can be rigged by ownership thus compromising the integrity of the game.

So it's convenient to use tampering as the guise of the real reason behind the penalties

Also, is anyone surprised the Fins or any other team was speaking with Brady in 2019? I mean Bill gave him a dummy 2 year contract, he asked not to be tagged, Kraft and Bill obliged. For the first time in 20 years he was set to become a FA. Are people that naïve to believe that no contact was made with Brady by teams prior to FA?

That's an interesting point. The #1 and #3 picks does seem over the top for tampering. Are there any past tampering violations where a #1 was taken? I can't recall one.

Yes. Exactly. It is like a psychological disorder. I get it I think on one hand. The guy is the GOAT, brought so much joy and winning to this region and yet they could not accept that it ended. They somehow forgot that Brady was human and after 20 years of taking below market deals, he wanted to get a new deal and get paid after helping to deliver the org its SIXTH ring. Somehow that makes him the scum of the earth yet Bill moving on him when Brady STILL had championship football left is just fine.
